This research design takes Gujingyuan Nature Reserve as the research object,through literature combing,field survey,spatial data analysis and hierarchical analysis,sorting out indicators,summarizing the current situation and establishing a model;using sustainable development theory,human-land relationship theory and low-impact development theory as research and design support;firstly,the evaluation indicators of landscape vulnerability of the research site are sorted out and discussed,then combined with Gujingyuan The current situation of the nature reserve’s functional zoning,land use,socio-economic status,climate and history were combined to establish its landscape vulnerability evaluation system and conduct landscape vulnerability evaluation;the methods and strategies of spatial optimization were analyzed in conjunction with the opinions of the Gujingyuan Nature Reserve Master Plan,and based on this,the spatial optimization design of the Gujingyuan Nature Reserve was started.The purpose and significance of landscape vulnerability assessment of nature reserves in the context of higher demands for environmental protection and resource use and rapid urbanisation are firstly explained;the research content of this thesis is outlined,while the research methods applied in this study are discussed,and finally the logical structure of this study for landscape vulnerability assessment and spatial optimisation and enhancement is summarised to obtain an overall technical route.In the research overview stage,the origins of nature reserves at home and abroad and the series of attempts made and documents promulgated in the course of their construction and development are reviewed;a series of evaluation methods studied or introduced at home and abroad for more comprehensive protection of nature reserves are reviewed;furthermore,the origins and evolution of landscape vulnerability are sorted out,leading to the evaluation methods and evaluation models of landscape vulnerability and the initial evaluation This provides the basis for the evaluation of landscape vulnerability in nature reserves.In order to effectively address landscape vulnerability in nature reserves,the theory of sustainable development,the theory of human-earth relationship and the theory of low-impact development are introduced and elaborated,and their connotations and characteristics are analysed to provide a theoretical basis for the optimal spatial design of the Gujingyuan Nature Reserve.At the stage of evaluating the landscape vulnerability of Gujingyuan Nature Reserve,42 landscape vulnerability indicators were summarized by combing the 42 landscape vulnerability indicators summarized by subsequent scholars’ studies on landscape vulnerability,and combined with the survey on the current situation of Gujingyuan Nature Reserve,the landscape vulnerability indicators of Gujingyuan Nature Reserve were summarized and filtered.In turn,a landscape vulnerability evaluation model for Gujingyuan Nature Reserve was established.Based on this,the weights of each indicator were determined by hierarchical analysis,and the spatial distribution of landscape vulnerability in Gujingyuan Nature Reserve was analysed by combining Fragstats 4.2,ENVI5.6 and Arcgis10.6 spatial overlay.vulnerability of Gujingyuan is mainly distributed in the experimental area,a small amount in the core area,and the buffer area is obvious as the dividing line.Among them,high vulnerability is the main state,with the area accounting for 28.20%,followed by the fragile area,accounting for 25.14%.Next,mild vulnerability,extreme vulnerability and non vulnerability,with the area accounting for 21.53%,16.04% and 9.08% respectively.In order to cope with and reduce the landscape vulnerability of the Gujingyuan Nature Reserve,this study first analyses the county and its own area,introduces sustainable development theory,low impact development theory and human-land relationship theory,uses the spatial visualisation of evaluation results as the basis for spatial optimisation design,proposes the overall strategy of "overall protection and zoning design",and carries out spatial optimisation design of the Gujingyuan Nature Reserve from the whole to the regions and then to the nodes,in order to effectively reduce the landscape vulnerability.
