With the acceleration of the pace of urbanization in China,the output of urban residents’ domestic waste has increased,and traditional garbage sorting facilities can no longer meet the needs of investors.As an important part of the environmental infrastructure of urban communities,domestic waste classification facilities are the basic guarantee for promoting the implementation of the domestic waste classification system and realizing the reduction,recycling,and harmless treatment of domestic waste at the source of urban communities.In recent years,China has strengthened the construction of urban waste classification facilities,vigorously promoted the design of garbage sorting facilities suitable for local conditions,and improved the source treatment capacity of urban solid waste.During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period,the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development once again stressed the need to accelerate the transformation and upgrading of facilities.In 2022,the report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China proposed to "actively and steadily promote carbon peaking and carbon neutrality",requiring all urban areas to improve community garbage sorting facilities,ensure that residents enjoy a complete garbage sorting facilities supporting service system,and promote harmonious coexistence between man and nature.Under the guidance of the state’s active promotion of the construction of garbage sorting facilities,Changchun urban community domestic waste sorting facilities are basically complete and the coverage of installation continues to expand.However,Changchun urban community solid waste sorting facilities have problems such as single shape,simple port setting and lack of intelligent functions,and some community facilities have been seriously damaged and aging,and the discordant image of garbage sorting facilities causes visual pollution to citizens’ lives and cannot meet the needs of citizens’ garbage classification.This paper takes Changchun urban community solid waste classification facilities as the research object,aiming to solve the problem that it is not easy to classify urban community solid waste and meet the living needs of Changchun residents by proposing feasible urban community solid waste classification facilities design scheme and domestic waste classification facility management countermeasures.This paper uses the literature research method and case analysis method to analyze the relevant concepts,design theories,and research status at home and abroad,and understand the development status of urban solid waste classification facility design.Through field research and questionnaire methods,the methods and facilities of domestic waste classification in Changchun urban communities,the actual use and functional needs of residents for domestic waste sorting facilities in the community were explored,and the existing problems in the design and facility management of community domestic waste sorting facilities in Changchun were determined.On this basis,this paper takes "peopleoriented" as the core of design,emphasizes the concept of "sustainable development",and puts forward the design scheme of Changchun environmental sanitation public graphic sign,the design scheme of small category of domestic waste logo and the design scheme of a series of Changchun urban community waste sorting facilities with urban characteristics.In addition,combined with local characteristics,the management countermeasures of garbage sorting facilities are proposed,which points out the direction for the management of urban solid waste sorting facilities in Changchun in the future,which is of great significance for improving the modernization level of garbage sorting facilities and promoting the construction of ecological civilization and green development.
