Leakage of petroleum may occur in the process of exploration,exploitation,refining,processing and transportation,and it will enter the groundwater environment and cause harm to the groundwater environment.The oil fingerprint method can be used to trace the source of oil spill and determine the responsibility of oil spill.The characteristic oil,typical water-bearing media and groundwater samples of atmospheric and vacuum unit and FCC unit of the refinery were collected and their basic physicochemical properties were determined.The fingerprint characteristics of the oil were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).Batch experiments were used to study the influence of different weathering degrees and adsorption conditions of water-bearing media on the fingerprint characteristics of oil products,and indoor column and tank simulation experiments were used to study the fingerprint characteristics of oil products after the action of groundwater.The chromatogram of oil from atmospheric and vacuum treatment unit and FCC unit is different in terms of contour,peak type,peak location,carbon number distribution range,UCM or not.There were significant differences in the types and concentrations of n-alkanes,isoprenoids and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons,but the differences between crude gasoline and stabilized gasoline with higher homology were small.Weathering and adsorption mainly lead to the loss of light components and the increase of the concentration of recombinant components.For oil samples with similar fingerprint characteristics,the diagnostic ratio and principal component analysis can be used to identify the oil samples based on the distribution characteristics of hydrocarbon substances and the analysis of mass concentration.For atmospheric and vacuum unit and catalytic cracking unit oil products,Select the C18 diagnosis ratio/Ph,(C19 + C20)/(C21 + C22),CPI(23-29)/(24-30),(C21 + C23)/(C14 + C16),(C19 + C20)/ ∑(C19-C22),LMW/HMW,CPI,∑ fluos/ ∑ PAH,∑dibens/ ∑ PAH,∑phens/ ∑ PAH,∑ phens/ ∑ fluos,C2-N/C1-N,C2-F/(C2-F+C1-F)can be used for oil identification after principal component analysis,realizing fingerprint traceability of oil in groundwater.The fingerprint traceability method was further verified by the fingerprint traceability of petroleum pollutants in groundwater in an oil reservoir area.
