With the rapid development of the domestic tea finishing industry,the technical backwardness of the tea screening and finishing machinery and equipment has become more and more prominent.At present,the design of the tea plane circular screen machine mostly relies on traditional experience,and the key structural parameters have not been optimized,which affects the screening performance.The processing quality of tea cannot be guaranteed.Therefore,this paper uses EDEM discrete element simulation software to simulate and analyze the screening process of tea plane circular screening machine,and designs single factor test to verify the simulation results with the evaluation value index of screening efficiency and false screening rate.Through the screening efficiency and error screening rate as the screening performance index of the tea plane circular screen machine,the regression equation of the main technical parameters was obtained by orthogonal test.The main technical parameters were optimized by MATLAB software.The rationality of the optimal combination of the main technical parameters of the tea plane circular screen machine was verified by experiments,which provided a theoretical basis for improving the screening performance of the tea plane circular screen machine.The main contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1)The working principle and structure of tea plane circular sieve machine were introduced.Taking tea particles as the research object,the force and motion trajectory of tea particles in the screening process were analyzed.The screening process of tea particles is divided into two directions: upward and downward along the screen.Combined with the condition that tea particles need to move in a spiral motion and have relative motion with the screen,the speed range that meets the screening process conditions of the tea plane circular screen machine is obtained.(2)The basic parameters of Biluochun tea particles were measured.The stacking angle of Biluochun tea particles measured by physical experiments was used as a reference.The results of virtual simulation experiments were response.Through factor screening,response surface optimization,and optimal parameter combination verification,the simulation parameters of Biluochun tea particles were calibrated,which provided a reliable parameter setting basis for subsequent simulation experiments.(3)EDEM software was used to simulate the screening process of the tea plane circular sieve machine.By changing the main technical parameters of the tea plane circular sieve machine(screen horizontal angle,crank crank pitch,sieve bed speed),the screening efficiency and error rate of the tea plane circular sieve machine under single factor were studied.By analyzing the influence trend of the screening effect of the tea plane circular sieve under the condition of single factor parameters,it provides a reference for the selection of the main technical parameters of the tea plane circular sieve.(4)Using minitab to design the quadratic orthogonal test,the constraint equation is established to optimize the main technical parameters of the circular sieve machine,and the optimized main technical parameter combination is obtained.The main technical parameters obtained by the optimization are designed and verified by the screening test.The test verification results are basically the same as the software prediction results.
