Disodium carboxymethyl trithiocarbonate, the subject of this thesis, has been shown to have the potential to replace traditional inhibitors of chalcopyrite(sulfide, cyanide)as a new type of inhibitor for copper-molybdenum separation, but there is still a long way to go before it can be truly industrialized. In order to shorten this distance, this thesis introduces the factor of "slurry chemistry",which is more suitable for the actual production site,to investigate the influence of slurry chemistry on the inhibition of chalcopyrite by disodium carboxymethyl trithiocarbonate, based on the existing studies. In order to reduce the difference between the laboratory and the actual production site,to promote the industrialization of disodium carboxymethyl trithiocarbonate, and to provide a new perspective for copper-molybdenum separation research.Details of the study and the conclusions obtained are as follows.(1)An electrochemical study of the chemical endogeneity of the ore slurry(the influence between sulfide ore particles)was conducted. The electrostatic potential of chalcopyrite in the disodium carboxymethyl trithiocarbonate system was found to be higher than that of pyromolybdenite, while the electrostatic potential of both was influenced by the type of trapping agent.Electrocorrosion due to static potential difference has a certain influence on their flotation as well as surface potential, and the flotation recovery of pyromolybdenite as an electrocorrosive anode shows a trend of first decreasing and then increasing with the increase of the mass proportion of cathode chalcopyrite.(2)A flotation test study of the external factors of pulp chemistry(water quality, temperature, dissolved oxygen)was conducted. The effect of disodium carboxymethyl trithiocarbonate was found to be influenced not only by the softness and hardness of the water, but also by the pretreatment link, and when the residual agent was not removed, the flotation results were often reversed.Temperature and dissolved oxygen,on the other hand, can regulate the relationship between the amount of disodium carboxymethyl trithiocarbonate and the inhibition effect.(3)A closed-circuit flotation test was conducted on a Cu-Mo mixed concentrate with Cu 22.08% and Mo 0.76%.A pilot study of open and closed circuit flotation of a mixed copper-molybdenum concentrate was carried out.Through the closed circuit process of "one coarse, one sweep and five fine",the molybdenum grade in molybdenum concentrate was 38.18% and the molybdenum recovery was 92.5%.
