The Application Of Chinese Traditional Lotus Pattern In Cultural And Creative Women’s Clothing

Lotus patterns are one of the most popular auspicious patterns in China,and porcelain lotus patterns have high pattern and cultural research value due to their unchanged color and easy preservation.There are rich themes of lotus patterns on porcelain in the history of our country,which have been endowed with various symbolic meanings such as holiness and auspiciousness with the development of the times,and have profound ideological and cultural connotations.It has been widely used in clothing design throughout history.The works not only have a deep understanding of China’s traditional aesthetic culture,reflect the high recognition of lotus pattern culture by people throughout history,but also inherit and develop the culture of pattern design.Therefore,they have high research value.This article is based on the form and cultural evolution of porcelain lotus patterns,using cultural and creative women’s clothing as the design carrier,and taking lotus pattern creativity and women’s clothing design as the axis,systematically studying and practicing the application of porcelain lotus patterns in cultural and creative clothing.The study consists of four parts: firstly,an introduction is given to the research background,purpose and significance,research content and framework,research methods,and current research status at home and abroad of this topic.Secondly,through various research methods,this study explores and analyzes the origin,development process,aesthetic characteristics,and cultural connotations of porcelain lotus patterns,summarizes the basic characteristics of the inheritance and integration of porcelain lotus patterns in the development of the times,and explores the basic laws of the sedimentation of traditional Chinese culture and the development of aesthetic concepts.Then,combining the concept and style characteristics of cultural and creative clothing,by analyzing the application forms of porcelain lotus patterns in cultural and creative clothing,listing the ways in which Chinese and Western designers use porcelain lotus patterns in contemporary clothing,analyzing and studying changes in concepts,shapes,colors,patterns,etc.,summarizing and summarizing their characteristic images,forms of expression,design methods,and basic features,and innovating design artistic elements,Explore the application and significance of integrating porcelain lotus patterns into cultural and creative clothing,providing a creative foundation for future design applications in women’s clothing.Finally,based on the analysis and summary of the above theories,combined with the popular characteristics of porcelain lotus patterns in cultural creativity,we searched for inspiration sources,sorted out design ideas,refined design methods,and innovatively designed patterns and styles to create a series of creative women’s clothing works.Through theoretical research and practical creation,the author believes that the lotus pattern of porcelain has been widely recognized by cultural identity due to its elegant image and profound implication,and has been well inherited and developed.The combination of high-quality factors in porcelain lotus patterns with modern fashion creativity,the collision of traditional culture with fashion culture,the exploration of cultural integration in different times and different contexts,the deepening of the design form of lotus patterns,the strengthening of the application of clothing lotus patterns,and the integration of traditional culture into modern life can provide reference for the inheritance of China’s outstanding national culture.
