As a major tourism province,Hainan Province is rich in tourism resources,and tourism has gradually developed into a pillar industry in Hainan Province.Tourism brings economic benefits to Hainan Province,but also brings some pressure on the ecological environment.Under the major strategic decision of “carbon peak carbon neutrality” based on the urgent need for high-quality development of tourism in free trade ports,it is necessary to explore the current tourism carbon emissions and tourism carbon carrying capacity of Hainan Province and its cities and counties.Firstly,based on the terminal consumption-oriented tourism carbon emission calculation method,this thesis measures the tourism carbon emissions of different sectors in different periods in Hainan Province.Based on land use data,the total carbon sink and tourism carbon carrying capacity of Hainan were calculated.Secondly,the spatial analysis method is used to reveal the spatial and temporal evolution of tourism carbon emissions and tourism carbon carrying capacity under different spatial scales in Hainan,and the coupling coordination degree model is used to analyze the coupling coordination relationship between the total tourism carbon emissions and tourism carbon carrying capacity in Hainan.The innovation of this thesis lies in the construction of tourism carbon emission index system and the application of spatial information technology in tourism carbon sink and tourism carbon carrying capacity.The purpose of this thesis is to provide reference for the high-quality development of tourism in Hainan Province and the realization of the goal of “double carbon”,and to better play the role of tourism in the construction of Hainan free trade port.This thesis draws the following main conclusions through research:(1)The total amount of tourism carbon emissions in different spatial scales in Hainan Province shows a rapid growth trend.Although there has been a weak decoupling with tourism income,the ideal goal of strong decoupling has not been achieved,and the emission reduction situation is grim.The variation types of tourism carbon emissions in each city and county belong to strong variation,showing the characteristics of “double peaks”;in terms of sectors,tourism traffic has the largest carbon emissions,accounting for more than 66.50 %on average;the second is the shopping sector,which accounts for an average of 9.60 % of carbon emissions.This is a unique phenomenon in Hainan,and the tourism shopping sector is often ignored in other provinces.The smallest is the tourism sector is only 1.91 %.In terms of spatial distribution,the distribution of total tourism carbon emissions in Hainan Province is uneven,showing the spatial distribution characteristics of Haikou and Sanya leading,and the eastern cities and counties as the main line.(2)The tourism carbon carrying capacity at different spatial scales in Hainan Province shows the characteristics of high and low fluctuations,and the two-level differentiation is obvious.Sanya has the highest tourism carbon carrying capacity,always ranking first in Hainan Province,and the tourism carbon carrying capacity of 10 cities and counties is less than 5,000 tons;the variation types of tourism carbon carrying capacity in each city and county belong to strong variation,showing the characteristics of ’ single peak ’ and tending to balanced development.In terms of spatial distribution,the spatial differentiation of tourism carbon carrying capacity in Hainan Province is obvious,the type changes frequently,and the spatial distribution characteristics of “eastern and central high,western low” are generally presented.(3)The two systems of tourism carbon emission and tourism carbon carrying capacity in Hainan Province have been in a state of coupling and coordinated development.They have changed between barely coordinated and primary coordinated types.The two systems interact and influence each other strongly.There are great differences in regional scale,and the synchronous development between regions is not realized.At the city and county scale,the two levels of differentiation are obvious,and the joint development between cities and counties has not been realized,but most cities and counties have experienced coupling and coordinated development.In terms of spatial distribution,the coupling coordination degree of the two systems in Hainan generally shows the spatial distribution characteristics of “high in the east,low in the middle and west”.
