| At present, the agricultural environment is under tremendous pressure, and agricultural pollution, characterized by surface pollution, has become a prominent problem that needs to be solved in the environmental field. The increasing consumption of agricultural production materials, inappropriate disposal of agricultural waste, massive use of agricultural chemicals, random discharge of livestock and poultry manure, and low adoption rate of green agricultural technology have made the ecological environment of agricultural land face a more severe test.Farmers are irreplaceable subjects in the agricultural production and management process, and play a vital role in improving the ecological environment of farmland.Whether farmers are willing to take measures to protect the ecological environment of farmland is closely related to their personal environmental literacy, and individual environmental literacy has an important influence on the implementation of farmland ecological protection behaviors by farmers. Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the environmental literacy of farmers and their willingness and behavior to conserve farmland.Based on the review of domestic and foreign literature and relevant data,we used the field survey method to conduct questionnaire surveys in four cities and counties, namely Dongfang,Ledong,Chengmai and Lingao,Hainan, and received 274 valid survey data, and used structural equation modeling to empirically analyze the relationship between environmental literacy and banana farmers’ willingness and behavior to conserve their farmland with the help of relevant econometric software. We used structural equation modeling to empirically analyze the logical relationship between environmental literacy and the willingness and behavior of banana farmers to conserve ecological land, and to verify the role of environmental emotions, environmental values, and environmental knowledge and skills on the willingness and behavior of ecological conservation under environmental literacy. The results of the study showed that banana farmers’ willingness to conserve farmland can have a significant direct effect on behavior;environmental emotion, environmental knowledge and skills can have both direct and indirect effects on farmland ecological conservation behavior.Specifically, environmental emotion can have both direct and indirect effects on behavior through willingness;environmental knowledge and skills can influence behavior through the mediating variable of environmental willingness, although the direct effect on farmland ecological conservation behavior is not significant.According to the findings,to achieve the goals of regulating banana farmers’ farmland production behavior and alleviating the ecological and environmental problems of banana plantations, the generation of banana farmers’ farmland ecological conservation behavior should be promoted.Starting from environmental emotion, environmental knowledge and skills, and willingness, the article explores the influencing factors of banana growers’ farmland ecological conservation behaviors and proposes policy recommendations in terms of banana growers’ environmental emotion, environmental knowledge and skills, and farmland ecological conservation willingness in order to provide some reference values for solving the ecological problems of banana plantation farmland. |
