In today’s world,ecological crisis and civilization conflict are the two major problems plaguing the destiny and development of of all mankind.The essence of ecological crisis is human crisis,cultural crisis and value crisis.Facing the challenge of the increasingly serious global ecological crisis,people began to examine and reflect on the ecological crisis from a cultural perspective and reshape the development path.The Chinese traditional cultural system contains rich ecological wisdom and ecological morality.The holism principle and the thinking mode and value orientation of the harmonious unity between man and nature make China occupy the moral commanding height in the international community.This provides theoretical basis and practical guidance for resolving the ecological crisis of human beings and jointly building a clean and beautiful world,promoting the construction of ecological civilization and realizing the construction of a beautiful and powerful country,complying with the laws of cultural development and implementing the goal of cultural power,deepening the reform of the ecological system and strictly protecting the ecological legal system.The article first outlines the definitions of ecological culture,ecological civilization,and Chinese traditional ecological culture.On this basis,it systematically summarizes the rational core of Chinese traditional ecological culture,that is,the ecological philosophy of "man and nature are one",the ecological ethics of "things and I are the same",the ecological and environmental protection thought of "saving and loving things" and The ecological management idea of "preventing development by time".Its basic features are the unity of nature and society,the harmony between ethics and institutions,the integration of inheritance and development,and the integration of nationality and internationality.Its historical limitations are manifested in the emphasis on nature,the neglect of subjective initiative,the emphasis on experience and intuition,the neglect of scientific demonstration,the emphasis on moral cultivation,and the neglect of scientific and technological development.The above defects and limitations make traditional Chinese ecological culture gradually exhausted in the social and historical evolution and the conflict between Chinese and Western cultures.It is urgent to realize the modern transformation of traditional ecological culture.From the aspects of resource value,material basis,subjective conditions and international situation,the article deduces that the overall situation of the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional ecological culture is good.However,it also faces problems such as the dilution of the ideological foundation,the conflict of cultural content,the lack of innovation awareness,and the lack of carrier platforms.Therefore,in order to further promote the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional ecological culture,considering the basic principles,main tasks and main responsibilities,it is proposed that we must take Marxism as the guide,problem demand as the lead,integrity and innovation as the key,education and publicity as the foundation,talent training as the focus,method transformation as the support,and institutional support as the guarantee to innovate the traditional Chinese ecological culture theory,enhance Chinese voice,and constantly contribute to the new era and human civilization with theoretical and practical innovation.
