Mogao Caves is the world’s largest preservation of ancient murals in the area,the longest-lasting,and of very high artistic value of human culture and art treasures,it is an indispensable part of grotto art and even the whole art world.Although the main contents of the Dunhuang murals are Buddhist themes,the characters they express are of all shapes and colors.Therefore,the costumes of the characters in the murals are ever-changing and all-encompassing,also can represent each dynasty’s characteristic,as well as the artistic change tendency,may be said that is a study Chinese ancient times Buddhism art living history book.Among them,the Tang Dynasty Dunhuang murals in the women’s clothing is more elegant and very characteristic,because of the Tang dynasty murals of more and more female images,figures become larger and larger,it provides clear information for the study of women’s Dress Art in the Tang Dynasty,and is also the favorable material for the study of dress culture in the whole Tang dynasty.Because the rulers of the Tang dynasty respected Buddhism,more than 200 caves were dug during the reign of the Tang dynasty for more than 300 years.The grottoes can be divided into four periods: the early Tang dynasty,the prosperous Tang dynasty,the middle Tang dynasty(ancient name for Tibet period)and the late Tang dynasty.The murals of female providers began to occupy a prominent position,and the performance of female providers,mainly in the Tang dynasty,the image of secular women from all walks of life.The artistic value of provider’s murals is also very high,including the artistic law of painting,the use of color and pattern and so on.And the patterns,the artistic rules of the murals and the use of color are complementary to each other.The patterns are patterns in the costumes,so the costumes themselves can not be mentioned in isolation,and the costumes themselves are costumes with the theme of providing for the people,color is the color of clothing,clothing color and patterns together constitute a sense of art.As an important part of the art of decorative patterns,the decorative patterns of Dunhuang costumes are an art subject worthy of great attention.Especially in the Tang dynasty period of female provider murals on the dress patterns.During the Tang dynasty,with the blending of culture and the change of thought,many patterns that had been applied to Buddhist themes began to appear on these secular images.And in the integration of other cultures,patterns also began to take place a certain transformation.Therefore,we can see the social art style and the secular life of the clothing patterns of the art style and tendency.Therefore,although the article is a study of the patterns of female provider’s clothing,it is also a pattern in the culture of female provider’s clothing.If it is divided into four parts,first of all,it is the importance and reason of the existence of provider and female provider,as well as clothing and patterns complement each other under the artistic embodiment.The female provider mainly records the image of the secular women in the society at that time,and the clothing is related to the secular society of the Tang dynasty,so the pattern of the important clothing of the whole Tang dynasty is also an important part.The second is the use of different and similar patterns of other human subjects and female providers,to understand the unique place of female providers in the murals.The third part mainly analyzes and exemplifies the representative patterns of the Tang dynasty female provider’s clothing,combining the dress of the Tang dynasty’s beauty painting with the previous part’s different styles of human-shaped clothing.Finally,this pattern in the future and even now in the development of the use of the more important point.
