| In weaving preparation,the main purpose of the sizing process was to improve the breaking strength,wear resistance of the yarn and reduce the harmful hairiness on the surface of the yarn,thus ensured the smooth progress of weaving.The presence of hairiness tended to deteriorate the wear resistance of the sizing yarn,so reducing the sizing hairiness also contributed to the improvement of the sizing wear resistance.With the continuous improvement of the current level of yarn processing,improving wear resistance and reducing yarn hairiness has become the key to the sizing process compared to improving the strength of the yarn.In recent years,in order to reduce the sizing hairiness,people have carried out research on the sizing formulations,sizing devices and sizing processes,mostly by enhancing the adhesion of the slurry to the fibers and increasing the contact between the hairiness and the yarn body to reduce the sizing hairiness.For the general weaving factory,changing the slurry formula or process will bring variety adaptability problems and increase costs,while modifying the sizing device requires a large investment funds.Therefore,effectively reducing hairiness in sizing is not easy to achieve.If the operating mechanism of sizing machine itself can be utilized,which means adding simple devices and simple modifications,reducing the hairiness of the sizing yarn without changing the slurry formula and process,it is possible to be widely used.In order to further reduce the sizing hairiness on the existing basis,this project has constructed a sizing hairiness and lamination combination device by studying the yarn sizing process and modifying the laboratory sizing testing machine.Which was divided into two parts:sizing hairiness and lamination before drying after sizing and sizing hairiness and lamination during drying process,so as to achieve a significant reduction in sizing hairiness.The research results can effectively attach the hairiness during the warp sizing process,which promotes the process performance and sizing performance of the sizing machine.The main research contents and conclusions of the project are as follows:Firstly,the mechanism and necessary conditions for hairiness reduction were analyzed by observing the state of the warp yarn after exiting the sizing trough,and the method of constructing a post-sizing and pre-drying hairiness applier was proposed in the post-sizing and pre-drying area.The device type and the material of the applique block were selected experimentally,and the optimum parameters for the reduction of hairiness were derived from a three-factor,three-level orthogonal experiment and finally verified using the optimum parameters.The study showed that the device type is c-type and the material of the attaching lumps was polytetrafluoroethylene,and the optimal combination of parameters to reduce the harmful hairiness of the sizing yarn was 30 mm contact length,10 mm overlap and 180 mm relative distance,which reduced the harmful hairiness of the sizing yarn by 30.16%.Secondly,in order to further reduce the sizing hairiness,the sizing guide roller between the pre-drying cylinder and the combined drying cylinder was transformed into an actively rotatable hairiness attaching roller to construct a sizing hairiness attaching device for the drying process.Then,by changing the temperature of the pre-drying drum to control the moisture regain rate of the yarn at the hairiness attaching roller,and changing the motion parameters of the hairiness attaching roller to control the degree of attaching function,the influence of adhesion and attaching function on the latching effect was analyzed,and the reduction of sizing hairiness was realized.Finally,the trend of the friction between the sizing yarn and the hairiness attaching roller was investigated in relation to the rewetting rate of the sizing yarn at the lowest hairiness reduction.The results showed that when the advent effect was applied,the moisture regain rate of the sizing yarn at the hairiness attaching roller had the best effect of reducing the sizing hairiness when it was 20%.When the friction length of the sizing yarn and the hairiness attaching roller was 65.3 mm,the number of harmful hairiness was achieved the lowest,and the reduction rate of harmful hairiness was 20.32%.Finally,the sizing hairiness attaching device in the sizing after and drying before and the sizing hairiness attaching device in the drying process were synergistic to construct the sizing hairiness attaching combination device.Firstly,the effect of the combined device on reducing hairiness was verified under the optimal parameters of the two devices.Then,two slurry formulations were used to sizing the three yarn types,and the universality of the combination device to the slurry formula and yarn types was studied.Then,a univariate experiment on warp sizing with different slurry concentrations was carried out to explore the influence of slurry concentration on the attachment of the composite device.The results showed that the combination device of sizing hairiness could improve the effect of hairiness reduction,and the harmful hairiness reduction rate was 36.33%,and the effect on other properties of sizing yarn was slight.In the case of different slurries and yarns,the reduction rate of harmful hairiness of the sizing of the combined device was between 20%~30%;The effect of the combination device attaching to the hairiness decreases with the decrease of the slurry concentration.The above studies have shown that the sizing hairiness attaching combination devices and methods can significantly reduce sizing hairiness on a wide range of yarns,while saving sizing costs and further improving sizing performance to better meet weaving requirements. |
