Traditional Chinese clothing,as an indispensable and important part of the development of Chinese history and culture,has numerous theoretical research and design innovations related to it.With the development of society,traditional Chinese clothing culture has received more and more attention worldwide.Through continuous exploration of traditional clothing,it not only enhances the cultural confidence of the public,but also makes it shine brightly on the stage of world ethnic clothing.The research of this topic focuses on the special export categories in traditional clothing,with physical cases as the starting point;Analyze the expression of its decorative art in detail,and based on this,summarize the characteristics for innovative design applications in contemporary clothing and accessories.Traditional export clothing refers to traditional Chinese clothing produced locally and sold overseas.This type of clothing appeared in large quantities from the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China,and was a silk fabric belonging to the export art category.It was extremely popular after being exported overseas.At present,research on exported artworks mostly focuses on daily necessities such as porcelain and furniture,and textiles are mainly related to home textile products,while discussions on clothing are rare.At the same time,due to changes in sales targets,there are significant differences in the decorative art displayed in traditional exported clothing compared to local traditional clothing.From this,it can be seen that the research topic not only supplements the theoretical research of traditional export clothing,but also reflects the changes that occur in the process of cultural exchange and integration when Chinese traditional clothing is disseminated to the outside world,which has certain academic and cultural significance.Moreover,the fashion design of modern clothing is increasingly emphasizing the deep cultural connotations of works.Drawing inspiration from exported clothing as a source of design innovation is not only an recognition of traditional culture,but also an important means of inheriting and developing clothing culture,with full practical significance.The specific research methods and process are as follows: Firstly,literature search method is used to understand the basic definition of "traditional export clothing",and through reading materials,its historical origin,development process,and dissemination methods are sorted out.Then,using the inductive classification method,traditional export clothing objects collected from various museums will be photographed and measured;And classify according to category and characteristics,and then briefly analyze the decorative performance of the samples used based on this,such as decorative shapes,decorative patterns,decorative techniques,and decorative regeneration.Secondly,based on the analysis results of the decorative features mentioned earlier,combined with case analysis,this study focuses on exploring the application of decorative patterns and techniques in traditional export clothing.The analysis content of decorative patterns includes theme style,modeling structure,composition layout,and color composition;The analysis content of decoration technology includes needle techniques,techniques,and processes mainly focused on embroidery,as well as the performance of fabric weaving technology,local decoration technology,and special processes.It is worth noting that in the process of analyzing these two types of decorative features,comparative analysis method is also needed to compare traditional export clothing with local traditional clothing,and explore the commonalities and individual characteristics between the two types of clothing.Finally,combining analysis conclusions,design feasibility,and market research to guide specific innovative designs.The feasibility of design needs to be comprehensively considered from the perspectives of social culture,industry development,and user groups,while market research can be divided into domestic and foreign case studies or market product research according to needs.The overall design process has a clear source of inspiration,creative process,and production process,with contemporary pattern and decorative design as the main design direction.The design work not only embodies the expression of traditional export clothing decoration,but also needs to have independent innovation,taking into account the cultural connotations of traditional clothing and the current fashion aesthetics of society.
