With the rapid development of modern science and technology,epoxy resin materials are used in aerospace,new energy vehicles,construction and other engineering fields.But the epoxy resin itself has some shortcomings,such as high brittleness and poor impact resistance.In order to improve the shortcoming of epoxy resin and make it meet the requirements in various application fields,epoxy resin is generally selected as the matrix and toughened or reinforced materials are added to improve the performance of epoxy resin.In this paper,the epoxy resin was toughened by adding nano-SiO2 with fixed mass fraction and bamboo fiber with different content,and its mechanical properties were analyzed.Bamboo fiber and nano-SiO2 reinforced epoxy resin were selected to prepare bamboo fiber/nano-SiO2/epoxy resin composite.Tensile test,three-point bending test and impact test were carried out on epoxy resin composite through material universal testing machine,and Shore hardness test of composite was measured.The molecular structure of epoxy resin matrix composites was analyzed by Fourier infrared spectroscopy,and the influence of bamboo fiber content on the mechanical properties of epoxy resin matrix composites was studied.The experimental results show that when the content of epoxy resin is 62.5g and the content of modified bamboo fiber is15g,the mechanical properties of the composite are the best.Compared with SiO2/BF0,the tensile strength,bending strength and Shore hardness of SiO2/BF15 are the highest,which are increased by 65.95%,137.24%and 55.93%,respectively.The impact resistance of SiO2/BF5 is increased by 36.44%compared with SiO2/BF0.The quasi-static compression test and dynamic compression test were carried out by the material universal testing machine and Hopkinson pressure bar to explore the effect of bamboo fiber content on the compression properties of epoxy resin matrix composites.The test results show that,as can be seen from the static compression curve and the dynamic compression performance diagram,the stress and strain curve of the composite material goes through four stages,namely,the elastic deformation stage,the yield stage,the strain softening stage and the unloading stage,and the maximum compressive strength of the composite material is obtained when the content of modified bamboo fiber is 15g.In the Hopkinson pressure bar test,the compressive strength of SiO2/BF15 is the highest under different impact pressure,showing excellent compressive performance,indicating that the addition of modified bamboo fiber 15g,the effect of strengthening epoxy resin matrix composite is more significant,and the composite has the best performance.The erosion wear test was carried out on the prepared epoxy resin composite material to explore the characteristic microstructure of the erosion zone and the influence of bamboo fiber on the erosion wear resistance of the epoxy system material.The experimental results show that the addition of modified bamboo fiber can improve the erosion wear resistance of epoxy resin matrix composite.When the content of bamboo fiber is 15g,the erosion zone depth of the composite is the shallowest and the erosion wear resistance is the best.
