In the era of "carbon peak" and "carbon neutrality",natural gas,as a unique low-carbon and clean energy,has the following advantages: efficient,convenient and abundant resources,which can play a complementary role with renewable energy.It can be foreseen that natural gas will play a key role in the global energy structure adjustment in the future social development.During the 14 th Five Year Plan period,the transformation goal of China’s energy consumption is green and low-carbon.It is estimated that by 2025,China’s annual natural gas consumption will reach 420-450 billion cubic meters.The development of the natural gas industry is in an important strategic opportunity period,but the current natural gas pricing model contains obvious drawbacks.As a state-owned natural gas enterprise,ZH Natural Gas Company must play a role in fulfilling the social responsibility of ensuring natural gas supply,especially in cooperation with the implementation of national policies such as "coal to gas" and environmental protection.Even if losses occur,it must complete the "supply guarantee" task.This article flexibly uses literature analysis,case analysis,survey questionnaire research methods,etc.to sort out the current situation of product prices of ZH Natural Gas Company.Combined with the pricing theory of quasi public goods,it deeply analyzes the problems and causes of the company’s product pricing model from an economic perspective,and draws on relevant advanced experience to propose corresponding strategies for the company’s product pricing model.This article introduces the current business situation of ZH Natural Gas Company,summarizes its current natural gas pricing model,and collects the problems of the current natural gas pricing model from the company’s cadres and employees through a survey questionnaire.Finally,it analyzes the two and concludes that the company’s current natural gas pricing model has many problems,such as: firstly,the government’s strong guidance makes it difficult to marketize natural gas pricing;Secondly,a linkage mechanism with alternative energy prices has not been formed,and market differential pricing is not perfect;Thirdly,the quality and efficiency of pricing cost approval work are relatively low;Fourthly,the pricing model is not scientific and difficult to adapt to the current development status of natural gas.And analyze the causes of the above problems,and finally closely combine them with the current situation of China’s natural gas market to propose relevant countermeasures for ZH Natural Gas Company to build a pricing model that meets the actual market demand: firstly,weaken the government’s pricing function and establish a market-oriented mechanism for natural gas prices;Secondly,establish a linkage mechanism with alternative energy prices and gradually improve the differential pricing mechanism;Thirdly,improve the cost approval system and innovate cost approval methods;The fourth is to enrich product pricing models and flexibly adjust pricing frequency.And clarify strategic goals in future operations to strengthen the company’s sustainable marketing path for product development.To promote the formation of a reasonable pricing model for natural gas in China and provide certain reference experience for the long-term,proactive and stable development of natural gas companies in China.
