With the rapid development of the pharmaceutical industry and increase in the export of medicinal products in our country,higher quality requirement on the pharmaceutical containers and packaging has been raised for the manufacturers.Meanwhile,great changes have also occurred to the business environment confronted by the pharmaceutical enterprises due to the increasingly mature market economy and fierce competition.The era has gone when the enterprises could obtain long-term development only by seizing market opportunities.Based on these facts,the major concern for most enterprises undergoing strategic transformation has become repositioning and formulating corresponding marketing strategies according to the changing business environment,which applies to SDYB as well.Under the guidance of theories on marketing strategy,this paper conducted detailed analyses on the business environment faced by SDYB with regard to the pharmaceutical glass products in the framework of PEST model and SWOT model,investigated the implementation of their current marketing strategies in terms of product,price,place,and promotion,which is known as the Marketing Theory of 4Ps,and pinpointed the problems.And finally,optimization proposals for marketing strategies were put forward from the 4perspectives.With regard to product strategy,it is rather crucial for the enterprise to reinforce their brand promotion so as to increase the popularity of the company,and to intensify the new product development to meet the diversified demands of different customers.In terms of the price strategy,flexible pricing in accordance with market,together with appropriate price preference,could make customers better apperceive the cost.As to the marketing channel strategy,it is necessary that the enterprise adjust their sales mode,and provide efficient pre-sales service for potential customers and after-sales service for customers.For promotion strategy,it is highly proposed that the company improve the proficiency of the marketing staff,launch customized activities on public relations,and organize proper marketing promotions.Following the in-depth and detailed research on the current marketing strategies for the pharmaceutical glass products of SDYB,the perfection and optimization proposals put forward in this paper will provide realistic guidance for the future management of pharmaceutical glass enterprises,facilitate the development and growth of the pharmaceutical glass products of SDYB in the fierce competition,and help to enrich and perfect the marketing theories.
