| The simulation technology of knitted fabric has received great attention in recent years.The research on the model and simulation of single loop of knitted fabric has also made some progress,but the research on the modeling and simulation of the whole knitted fabric is less.Based on the piecewise cubic interpolation function,the loop model of a single loop can be solved through the control points of the grid model.Based on the grid model,the loop models of different loop types can be solved.Through the yarn generation algorithm and Open GL graphics library,the 3D yarn simulation is realized,so as to realize the 3D simulation of a single loop.Furthermore,the grid spring mass coupling model is used to realize the threedimensional simulation of weft knitted fabric.Firstly,the common loop modeling method is introduced.Taking the real loop unit as the starting point,select the control points on the loop unit to control the loop shape.Combined with the grid model,the weft knitting loop modeling is realized by analyzing and selecting the piecewise cubic interpolation function to obtain the loop type point.After obtaining the loop model,the simulation design of planar weft knitted fabric is realized by simulating the yarn shape and lighting effect in the real state based on the type value points and through the yarn simulation algorithm.In order to further realize the three-dimensional simulation of weft knitted fabrics,and realize the dynamic of weft knitted fabrics on three-dimensional surfaces.This topic has designed and implemented a grid spring particle coupling model.By building a grid model in three-dimensional space,we have built a three-dimensional simulation of weft knitted fabric in curved space.Based on the grid model in space,we couple the spring particle model with it.Through the spring particle model,we can calculate the force between grids in real time and update the grid position,The simulation design of weft knitted fabric similar to the real state is realized.In order to achieve a more realistic three-dimensional simulation effect,this topic also explores and realizes the collision detection and response algorithm between yarns and the connection algorithm between adjacent loops.Based on the distance monitoring of the type point and the yarn generation algorithm,the position of the yarn subdivision surface near the type point of adjacent loops can be modified in real time to realize the collision detection and deformation simulation of the yarn.By recording the simulated position of the last yarn of the last loop,we can additionally design the connection of subdivision surfaces between two loops to complete the connection algorithm design between yarns.To sum up,this paper takes the three-dimensional modeling and simulation of weft knitted fabric as the goal,and systematically studies the methods of loop modeling and simulation,the simulation algorithm of yarn,and the method of how to build loop models on more complex surfaces.Through systematic research and design,three-dimensional modeling and simulation of weft knitted fabric are realized,which makes the development and design of weft knitted fabric more concise and intuitive,and lays a foundation for dynamic three-dimensional modeling of weft knitted fabric. |
