Research On The Evolution Of Inter-color Skirt And Innovative Design Practice From The Perspective Of Ethnic Fusion

The Sui and Tang dynasties had a role in ancient Chinese history,and the current research on the history of dress in the Sui and Tang dynasties has been conducted from different points of view by scholars in different fields.The research has been expanded from sociology,history,archaeology,and other related fields,and a certain number of findings and results have been obtained.In this study,we take "the evolution of the inter-colored skirt from the perspective of ethnic integration" as the research object,combine the theories and methods of related disciplines,analyze the style,color,pattern and other characteristics of women’s inter-colored jacket dresses in the Sui and Tang dynasties,digitize the materials such as tomb wall paintings and historical records,and reproduce a set of women’s inter-colored jacket dresses,as well as make derivative designs.The study aims to further improve and supplement the research in this field by digitizing materials such as tomb murals and historical records and reproducing a set of women’s inter-colored jacket dresses as well as making derivative designs.The aim is to explore the theoretical value and practical significance of traditional costume reproduction for the study of Chinese costume history,to promote Chinese traditional costume culture,and to enhance national cultural confidence.This paper takes the Sui-Tang jacket dresses in documentary records and frescoes and silk paintings as the main research objects,and uses research methods such as documentary survey,image study,archaeological study and experimental study to reproduce and innovate design practice for the inter-colored jacket dresses.From the preliminary data collection and collation,we study the evolution of the inter-colored jacket from the perspective of ethnic integration,and conduct in-depth classification and discussion,digital collation;in the middle stage,we select the red and green inter-colored jacket from the wall paintings in the tomb room of Duan Jianbi for reproduction,and objectively analyze and infer its style,color,pattern and other contents;in the later stage,we combine theory with practice,extract the elements of the inter-colored jacket dress and conduct derivative design practice.In order to better organize a complete set of research,reproduction and design practice methods of the inter-colored jacket system,to provide new ideas and directions for subsequent scholars,the research has been concluded as follows:1.The inter-colored skirt,also called "inter-skirt" and "inter-colored jacket",was one of the representative dresses of the Sui and Tang dynasties with its narrow sleeves,flounced chest and inter-colored features,and the inter-colored jacket was the most typical from the Sui to the early Tang dynasties,with its style,color and other The style,color and other elements of the jacket have had a profound influence on the next generation.2.The evolution of the inter-colored jacket can be traced back to the Wei and Jin dynasties and extended to the Sheng Tang dynasty,during which the exchange and penetration of Han culture,northern minority cultures and foreign cultures from the West made the inter-colored jacket develop in stages,with rich changes in the collar type,various types of inter-colors,and the distance between the inter-colored cloth widths changing from wide to narrow,etc.3.According to the four dimensions of ethnic migration,religious influence,regime exchanges and trade transactions,the phenomenon of ethnic integration and social background are analyzed and studied,and the characteristics and causes of their costumes are analyzed and the evolution can be divided into three periods: budding,change and development.4.The reproduction of the red and green inter-colored jacket dress from the tomb of Duan Jianbi in the Sui and Tang dynasties was selected,which is mainly a jacket(shirt),skirt and drapery,with two types of patterns: joint bead pattern and floral pattern.According to this feature,the data of the woman’s dress was objectively analyzed,and using Photoshop and Corel Draw,the style diagram,effect diagram,basic dimensions and other information were drawn.5.Digital reproduction of the inter-colored jacket,physical reproduction,design practice,and finally the three-dimensional visualization of the reproduction object in different ways to better record the traditional costume.The design practice extracts the elements of the inter-colored jacket dresses and makes ready-to-wear dress designs that meet modern aesthetics,and passes on and promotes the traditional dress culture more abundantly and effectively in various ways.
