Non-circular gears have the advantages of both cams and gears,and are widely used in fields such as weapons and equipment,mining machinery,aviation and aerospace.Due to the special working environment and complex working conditions of non-circular gears,their machining accuracy is particularly important.As one of the commonly used machining methods for non-circular gears,electric discharge wire cutting has the advantage of not being limited by the shape of Non-circular gears.Therefore,this article combines the theory of wire cutting machining with the experimental method of non-circular gear wire cutting machining to explore the influence of process parameters on the tooth profile error of Pascal worm shaped Non-circular gears.By optimizing process parameters and compensating for errors,the tooth profile error is reduced and the precision of non-circular gear wire cutting machining is improved.The main research content is as follows:(1)Analysis on the Causes of Tooth Profile Error and Electrode Wire Deformation Simulation in Non-circular Gear Wire EDM Machining.This paper analyzes the main factors that affect the tooth profile accuracy of non-circular gears by WEDM,including the change of electrode wire shape and position and the phenomenon of repeated discharge.(2)Experiment and Data Analysis of Non-circular Gear Wire EDM MachiningSelect the tooth profile error of the root,middle,and top parts of Pascal worm shaped Non-circular gears as the experimental indicators,select the process parameters that have a significant impact on tooth profile error as the experimental factors,and design orthogonal experiments;Based on range analysis and variance analysis,the experimental data is analyzed to explore the influence of process parameters on the tooth profile error of Non-circular gears in the root,middle,and top parts,as well as the optimal parameter combination.(3)Prediction of Tooth Profile Error and Optimization of Process Parameters.The regression analysis method and grey wolf optimization algorithm are used to predict and optimize the process parameters of non-circular gear WEDM machining,and the Pareto cutting-edge process parameter optimal solution set is obtained to reduce the tooth profile error of non-circular gears.(4)Prediction of Tooth Profile Error and Optimization of Process Parameters.The regression analysis method and grey wolf optimization algorithm are used to predict and optimize the process parameters of non-circular gear WEDM machining,and the Pareto cutting-edge process parameter optimal solution set is obtained to reduce the tooth profile error of non-circular gears.Research on Compensation Method for Non-circular Gear Profile Error Based on SSA-BP Neural Network Prediction.The weights and thresholds of BP neural network algorithm are optimized by sparrow search algorithm to improve the Rate of convergence and prediction accuracy of BP neural network;Furthermore,the SSA-BP neural network is used to model the tooth profile error of Pascal worm shaped non-circular gears in wire EDM machining,and nonlinear prediction is made for the tooth profile error of Non-circular gears.Based on the prediction error,the machining trajectory is compensated in reverse,Improving the machining accuracy of non-circular gears.
