Application Of Traditional Tibetan Gown Shape In Modern Clothing Design

Tibetans mainly live in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau area known as the "roof of the world".Due to natural barriers in natural geographical factors,Tibetan areas are isolated from the outside world and trapped in communication.The special geographical environment of Tibetan areas has created the uniqueness of Tibetan culture.With the advancement of the western development policy,the academic field has ushered in a wave of "",and studies on Tibetan culture have followed one after another.However,there is a lack of research on the shape of Tibetan traditional robes.Tibetan robes are influenced by the special natural geographical environment and traditional humanities and religions,which have created the unique shape characteristics and artistic charm of Tibetan robes.Therefore,the research on the combination of Tibetan robe shape and modern clothing has both cultural heritage and practical significance.This paper mainly uses the method of literature analysis to study the shape characteristics,cultural connotation and aesthetic characteristics of Tibetan traditional robes.Using case analysis method and comparative analysis method to analyze the application of Tibetan traditional gown shape in modern clothing design.Through the design practice method,study the design method of combining the unstructured shape features of Tibetan robes with the structured shape features of modern clothing.According to the fashion trend of modern clothing,design positioning and design concepts are determined through questionnaires.Integrating the non-structure of Tibetan robes into the structure of modern clothing for design practice.Using the technique of combining darts,pleats,and dividing lines,this paper explores the clothing design method of combining the unstructured Tibetan robe with the structured modern clothing.The application of Tibetan traditional robe shape in modern clothing design is a combination of traditional ethnic elements and modern fashion,which injects new inspiration into modern clothing design,and finally presents a style that not only has traditional cultural connotations but also conforms to modern life style and fashion aesthetic modernity clothing.
