Research On The Scientific Connotation And Practical Path Of The "Two Mountains Theory" In The New Era

The construction of ecological civilization is a fundamental plan for the sustainable development of the Chinese nation.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,Xi Jinping has made a series of important judgments about the construction of ecological civilization,forming Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization,and elevating our Party’s understanding of the laws of ecological civilization construction to a new level.The theory of “two mountains”,that is,“green waters and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains”,is the core content of Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization,profoundly revealing Protecting the environment while developing the economy,and the harmonious coexistence of human beings and nature.The report of the Twentieth National Congress of the Communist Party of China stressed that “we must firmly establish and practice the idea that green water and green mountains are golden mountains and silver mountains,and plan for development from the height of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.”This provides scientific theoretical guidance and action guidance for the realization of Chinese path to modernization of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.This paper uses the methods of literature research,system analysis and Transdisciplinarity.First,it combs the theoretical basis and development process of the formation of the “Two Mountains Theory”.Secondly,through the discussion of the dialectical unity relationship between “green water and green mountains” and “golden mountains and silver mountains” and the connotation of the “two mountains theory”,the main contents of the“two mountains theory” are summarized,and the Dialectical materialism natural view and green development view contained in the “two mountains theory” are analyzed.The basic characteristics of the “two mountains theory” are reflected through the people’s livelihood feelings,popular expression,and dialectical thinking of contradiction analysis.The“Two Mountains Theory”not only achieves the innovative development of the sinicization of Marxist views on nature,development,and ecology,but also points out the direction for implementing the new development concept and promoting high-quality development,containing the value of combining theory and practice in the era.Once again,the paper summarizes the problems and typical cases of successful implementation of the“Two Mountains Theory”in the current stage.The problem is manifested as regional disparities in the transformation process caused by differences in ecological resource endowments,and the incomplete implementation of the“Two Mountains Theory”in some regions has resulted in a discount to the effectiveness of ecological civilization construction.Successful cases were selected from Lishui,Zhejiang and Qinghai provinces,and their successful experiences and inspirations were summarized.Finally,the paper proposes a path for implementing the“Two Mountains Theory”,which aims to expand the channels for the transformation from“green waters and green mountains”to“golden mountains and silver mountains”by stimulating the main motivation,promoting differentiated paths,and innovating transformation models.On the new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist power,in-depth research,firmly establish and practice the “two mountains theory”,and promote the transformation of “green water and green mountains” to “golden mountains and silver mountains” have important theoretical and practical significance for in-depth understanding of Marxist ecological civilization thought,further implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Ecological Civilization,and building a Chinese path to modernization of harmonious coexistence between man and nature.
