Waterborne polyurethane / acrylate(PUA)materials have the advantages of good water resistance,low preparation cost and no solvent pollution.PUA is widely used in coatings,textiles,construction and other fields.In this paper,PUA emulsion was synthesized by acrylate modified waterborne polyurethane,and then modified by dimethylglyoxime(DMG)and castor oil(CO)to obtain emulsion,which was named POU emulsion and CPUA emulsion.POU polymer film with thermal stimulation response repair performance and CPUA polymer film with shape recovery were prepared by solvent evaporation method(cast)and demulsification induced rapid curing method(DIFS).1.A series of PUA emulsions were synthesized with polycaprolactone polyol(PCL),isophorone diisocyanate(IPDI),butyl acrylate(BA),methyl methacrylate(MMA),etc.Compared with PUA emulsions with different R’ values,with the increase of R’,the viscosity of the emulsion decreased,and the stability also decreased.The toughness of the polymer film prepared by the cast method decreased.Based on the DIFS method,under the condition of voltage of 5 V and time of 2 h,it was found that the film thickness was thin and difficult to peel when R ’ value = 0.9 and R ’ value = 1.0,and no film was formed when R’ = 1.2 and R’ value = 1.3.Therefore,R’ value = 1.1 was selected as the follow-up study.When R’= 1.1,the effect of R value was studied.It was found that PUA-3 and PUA-4 emulsions had good stability.Based on the DIFS method,the surface of PUA-3 film was smoother and the transmittance was better under the condition of voltage of 5 V and time of 2 h.2.A series of POU emulsions were synthesized by using DMG modified PUA emulsion.Compared with POU emulsions with different DMG contents,the appearance of the emulsion gradually changed from translucent blue to milky white with the increase of DMG content.The film forming conditions of POU emulsion were studied based on DIFS method.Although POU emulsion can form film on metal surface,its film thickness is thin and has no repair effect.The polymer films of POU with different DMG contents prepared by cast method have adjustable fluorescence intensity characteristics and thermal stimulation response repair.This thermal response repair POU film with adjustable fluorescence intensity characteristics can reach 79 % transmittance,588 % tensile properties and 3.93 MPa tensile strength.3.A series of CPUA emulsions were obtained by adjusting the ratio of CO and PCL.The structure of CPUA polymer film was characterized by FTIR,and the transmittance of CPUA polymer film was tested by ultraviolet visible light.The mechanical properties test results show that with the increase of CO content,the tensile strength increases from 8.0 MPa to 9.8 MPa and then decreases to 4.4 MPa.The water absorption of CPUA decreased from261 % to 13 % with the increase of CO content.CPUA polymer membrane has good acid and alkali resistance.CPUA-3 has shape recovery performance and can be shaped and restored multiple times.
