| With the improvement of China’s comprehensive national strength,under the influence of the policy of accelerating the construction of an innovation-oriented country,our talents are shifting toward the direction of compound,application-oriented and innovation-oriented.The concept of STEAM education advocates the cultivation of ideal thinking,the courage to explore and reflect,problem solving,technology use and so on,which plays a very key role in improving individual comprehensive literacy,and has become the education policy of talent training in many developed countries in the world.At present,there are some problems in the design of smart toys.For example,it is designed for the appearance and modeling of cool technology.Such toys with low interaction are easy to make children tired of them.It should be the direction of intelligent toys nowadays to attach importance to the design concept of integrating educational,interactive experience and entertainment of intelligent toys for children.This paper firstly summarizes the development context,content and characteristics of STEAM education concept.And the growth characteristics and needs of preschool children are summarized.Through literature survey,questionnaire survey and interview analysis and summary of the user’s demand for intelligent toy design.The design principles and methods of STEAM smart toys are obtained through the design transformation of user requirements,aiming to provide new ideas for the innovative design of smart toys.Finally,based on the above research,the design practice of Little Magic intelligent programming toy is carried out,and the design practice is verified by the STEAM toy evaluation framework. |
