In the new era and new journey,China has entered a period of high-quality development, and must put sustainable development in the first place and promote the synergy between economic development and ecological protection. As an important input factor for production, land works together with key factors such as human, capital and information to obtain economic output, while at the same time,as an important space carrying various ecological processes, land plays an important ecological function. Therefore,in order to achieve sustainable development of land resources,it is necessary to seek effective ways to enhance the ecological efficiency of land use. With the rapid development of science and technology and information networks, the level of interconnection between cities is increasing, and the flow of various production factors such as information, population and capital is accelerating,a new type of production space-the "flow" space-is emerging. In the traditional "field" production space, the allocation of factors mainly depends on geographical location, while in the "flow" production space, the "location" of cities in the spatial network determines the concentration or diffusion of factor flows,as well as the direction and speed of flows. In the ’flow’ production space, the ’location’ of the city in the spatial network determines the concentration or diffusion of factor flows,as well as their direction, speed and intensity.Factor flows play an important role in the process of economic development, influencing the economic and polluting output of various production activities, and thus the ecoefficiency of land use,by causing changes in the allocation of production factors and facilitating the interaction of multiple factors. Thus, based on the perspective of flow space,it is of great significance to clarify the inner mechanism of inter-regional factor flows affecting the ecological efficiency of land use,and to explore the impact of factor flows on the ecological efficiency of regional land use.In summary, the article firstly explains the inner mechanism of factor mobility affecting land use eco-efficiency from the perspective of flow space by sorting out the inner logic between flow space and land use eco-efficiency.Secondly,it constructs an evaluation index system for land use eco-efficiency and measures the land use ecoefficiency of county units in urban areas. Then,a multi-faceted spatial network of information, economic and demographic factors in the inter-county area of the urban area is constructed and analysed for structural characteristics. Finally, with the help of a spatial econometric model and a geographically weighted regression model, the impact of intercounty flows of various factors on the ecological efficiency of land use from the perspective of flow space is empirically analysed, and the following conclusions are obtained:(1)On the whole, the level of land use eco-efficiency in Wuhan Urban Agglomeration is not high and shows a more dispersed spatial pattern. The medium-high efficiency zone is mainly located in the central part of the city circle, while individual districts and counties in the south and west are medium efficient, and some marginal areas in the positive east, west, south and north are medium-low efficiency zones, while other marginal areas are low efficiency.(2)The spatial pattern of the three types of factor flow connectivity network, namely information, economy and population, has certain commonalities and shows a significant "core-edge" feature;the central part of the urban circle is more competitive in the flow network, while the peripheral counties are not competitive enough, and the interaction and collaboration with other counties has yet to be strengthened.(3)The eco-efficiency ranking of land use and the centrality ranking of each county and district in the multi-faceted factor flow network are not entirely consistent, and some regions also show large differences, indicating that the influence of factor flow on the eco-efficiency of land use is more complex and spatially different.(4)In general, information centre degree has a significant positive effect on land use eco-efficiency,economic centre degree has a significant negative effect on land use ecoefficiency, and the coefficient of population centre degree on land use eco-efficiency is negative but does not pass the significance test, indicating that the improvement of land use eco-efficiency mainly relies on the dissemination and diffusion of science and technology, culture and other elements implied by information flow, and no longer relies entirely on the traditional flow.(5)The coefficients of information centre degree and economic centre degree on land use eco-efficiency are negative but do not pass the significance test.(5)The influence of information centrality, economic centrality and population centrality on the eco-efficiency of land use in urban counties varies to a certain extent by region. The influence of information centre degree is spatially "high in the west and low in the east, high in the south and low in the north";the influence of economic flow centre degree is spatially decreasing from north to south;the influence of population centre degree is spatially "high in the west and low in the east",with a relatively small decrease.Based on the above findings, the following suggestions are made:(1)Improve the spatial network system of factor flow in urban areas and promote the orderly flow of factors.Further optimise the functional division of labour and industrial layout of districts and counties, and actively cultivate central cities in the fringe areas of the city circle.(2)Take multiple measures to enhance the ecological efficiency of land use according to the green development characteristics of regional land use.Accelerate the construction of information technology software and hardware facilities, and strengthen the control and supervision of polluting enterprises.(3)Promote the green development of land use according to local conditions based on the regional heterogeneity of influencing factors. |
