| Jet pump is a commonly used equipment in mechanical oil extraction.It has the characteristics of simple structure,no moving parts,long service life of equipment and easy repair.The application of liquid jet pumps in the field of oil and gas wells is relatively common,but the research and application reports of gas jet pumps are relatively few.This paper takes the gas well jet pump drainage and gas recovery as the goal,and focuses on the numerical simulation research on the characteristic curve of the gas jet pump.The following researches were mainly carried out:The physical model of the jet pump was established by Fluent fluid mechanics simulation software and numerical simulation was carried out,and the characteristic curve of the gas jet pump and the characteristic curve of the liquid jet pump were established respectively.It was found that the gas jet pump has higher efficiency than the liquid jet pump.Sensitivity analysis was carried out on the characteristic curve of the gas jet pump,and the influence of the nozzle outlet and throat section area ratio,throat distance,length-diameter ratio and other structural parameters as well as the outlet pressure of the jet pump on the characteristic curve was analyzed.The pump selection method and pump selection process of the gas jet pump are proposed,and the design of the drainage gas selection pump is carried out for an actual gas well.The pump efficiency of the jet pump can reach more than 50%,which proves that the gas jet pump can well meet the needs of gas well drainage and gas production. |
