Carbon-centered free radicals are a class of important reactive intermediates with high reactivity and chemical selectivity, which have high application value in synthesis reactions. The purpose of this article is to explore the research and application of the production process of carbon free radicals involving photoinduced oxygen in order to modify aromatic compounds more quickly. The following innovative achievements have been achieved:A new method of direct C-3 alkylation of quinoxaline ketones using oxygen as oxidant and XAT strategy to activate halogenated hydrocarbons under photo-induced conditions has been developed. This method has the advantages of mild reaction conditions, wide applicability and high yield, providing an important strategy for modifying nitrogen-containing aromatic heterocycles with biological and pharmaceutical activities. On the basis of the above system,a green and efficient visible light-induced arylation and alkylation reaction of nitrogen-containing aromatic heterocycles was explored. This method does not use any photocatalyst and uses oxygen as oxidant. It has the advantages of mild reaction conditions, good functional group tolerance and friendly environment. This scheme is conducive to obtaining arylation and alkylation products of nitrogen-containing aromatic heterocycles. This method can achieve the preparation of gram-grade products and obtain higher yields.A bifunctional reaction of olefins induced by visible light has been developed. This reaction uses CF3SO2Na as a powerful source of CF3 free radicals, and quinoxaline ketones as arylation reagents.Three-component free radical reaction can efficiently synthesize valuableβ-Trifluoromethylalkylated quinoxaline derivatives have promoted the in-depth study of more effective strategies based on various CF3 reagents.
