Nowadays,with the rapid development of coal industry and the rising pressure of underground coal mine transportation,electric locomotive transportation is an extremely important part of underground coal mine rail transportation,which is responsible for the operation of ore,materials and personnel."Coal mine Safety Regulations" clearly stipulates the braking distance of electric locomotive in material transportation or personnel transportation.Therefore,the braking performance of the braking system in the mine electric locomotive is very important to its safe operation and transportation efficiency.The existing electric locomotive braking system generally uses hydraulic or pneumatic braking.The structure of the braking system is complex and tedious,difficult to install,and the late maintenance cost is high.The air pressure or hydraulic pressure in the pipeline rises and falls slowly,the empty travel is long,the braking time lags,the empty driving distance and the parking distance are long,which affect the driving safety.In the actual transportation process of underground coal mine,in the actual operation of the mine,the braking distance of motor vehicles often exceeds the limit.Therefore,the design of a braking system with good braking performance and easy operation is of great significance to the mine electric locomotive.Using Solid Works software to carry out the overall three-dimensional modeling of the electric locomotive,its components mainly include cab,frame,power supply device,shape device,etc.This paper introduces the principle and characteristics of the electric push rod,establishes the mathematical model of the electric push rod by force analysis,and carries on the preliminary selection and load calculation according to the main technical parameters of the 12 T mine electric locomotive.Then,the force of electric locomotive during braking is analyzed,and the mathematical model of brake deceleration and brake spacing is established.In view of the problems in the braking system of mine electric locomotive,this paper proposes a design scheme of electric push rod braking system,designs the explosion-proof electric push rod and the overall structure of the braking system,puts forward the control principle of the electric push rod braking system,and analyzes the significance of the braking system for underground unmanned driving.The transient thermal analysis module of ANSYS is used to simulate and analyze the temperature field of the wheel under the conditions of constant speed braking and emergency braking,and the conclusion is drawn that the maximum temperature of the wheel during the braking process is not more than 150℃.On this basis,the prototype of mine electric locomotive is successfully developed,and industrial tests are carried out,including the reliability test of electric push rod and the braking performance test of electric locomotive.The test results verify the feasibility of the electric push rod braking system of mine electric locomotive.
