Research On Influence Of Herbs Fumigation-Washing Therapy On Knee After Anterior Cruciate Ligament Reconstruction

Objective The aim of this research is to observe how the herbs fumigation-washing therapy effecting of knee healing after ACL reconstruction,with a exception to reducing complications after ACL reconstruction,finding a new method of Chinese herbs in preventing and treating of knee after ACL reconstruction.Methods 40 patients who need to ACL reconstruct are selected and divided into two groups.Treatment group(herbs fumigation-washing therapy+rehabilitation exercise)and control group(rehabilitation exercise).There are20 patients in each group.All these patients underwent tendon autograft transplantation.Two groups of patients received basic rehabilitation exercise.Treatment group:taking herbs fumigation-washing therapy twice a day after take out stitches,14 days per course of treatment,taking four course of treatment in total.pain score,tumid,joint range of motion,Lysholm score and IKDC score are graded respectively in the preoperation,1 months,2months,3months and 6 months postoperative follow—up on all the patients.Results There is no statistical significant difference between the treatment group and control group on age,gender,days of operation after be injured,Lysholm score,IKDC score.In pain score,the item of the treatment group reduced significantly when compared with the control group when follow-upsurvey on 1 month and 2months(P<0.05),while with no difference on 3months.As to the tumid,the item of the treatment group reduced significantly when compared with the control group when follow-upsurvey on 1 month and 2months(P<0.05),while with no difference on 3months.In joint range of motion,the item of the treatment group improved significantly when compared with the control group when follow-upsurvey on 1 month,2months and 3months(P<0.05).In Lysholm score,the item of the treatment group improved significantly when compared with the control group when follow-upsurvey on 3 month and 6months(P<0.05),while with no difference on 1months.In IKDC score,the item of the treatment group improved significantly when compared with the control group when follow-upsurvey on 3 month and 6months(P<0.05),while with no difference on 1months.Conclusion Herbs fumigation-washing therapy help to relieve pain and tumid,meanwhile improve range of motion of the joint after ACL reconstruction,promoting Lysholm score and IKDC score and accelerated remodeling effects of knee.
