Objective:To explore the application effect of objective structured training in higher vocational nursing students in emergency department by comparing objective structured training with routine training.Method:2018 higher vocational internship nursing students in the emergency department of a city’s tertiary hospitals were randomly divided into the experimental group of 44 cases and the control group of 44 cases. The control group adopted the routine training of "one-to-one" teacherstudent teaching, while the experimental group adopted the objective structured training of "one-week site,one-site one-to-one",a total of four sites. After four weeks of training, the two groups were assessed by OSCE,and the subjects were evaluated by the scales" Self-directed learning instrument for nursing students" and the "Competency inventory for registered nurse ".The data were analyzed by SPSS 22.0 statistical software. The measurement data are asx±s.The results showed that the independent sample t test was used for the comparison between the groups and the pairing t test was used in the group. The counting data were expressed as a percentage,.and the difference between the two groups was statistically by the χ2 test significant, with P<0.05 as the difference.Result:(1)The general data of nursing students in the two groups were compared, such as age, sex, school performance and so on.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)There were significant differences in the total score of nursing students,pre-hospital first aid station, emergency diagnosis station and emergency first aid station between the two groups(P<0.05).Except for the health assessment station, the average score and excellent rate of the other items in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group.(3)In the control group, only the dimension of learning motivationwas statistically significant before and after training. There was no significant difference in interpersonal communication before and after training in the experimental group, but the total score and other dimensions were statistically significant. After training, there were significant differences in the total score of self-oriented learning ability, learning motivation, planning, implementation and self-management between the two groups(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference in interpersonal communication between the two groups(P>0.05).The average scores of the experimental group were higher than those of the control group.(4)There were significant differences in the total score of core competence, critical thinking and clinical nursing scores of nurses in the control group before and after training.Meaning.The differences of each dimension before and after the training in the experimental group were statistically significant. After training, except for the difference of interpersonal relationship dimension score, the total score of core competence and other dimensions of nursing students in the two groups were significantly different, and the average scores of core competence of nursing students in the experimental group were higher than those in the control group.Conclusion:(1)Objective structured training can improve the level of clinical practice skills of nursing students in higher vocational colleges of emergency department. The improvement of self-oriented learning ability and the strengthening effect of core ability are better than those of routine training.(2)Both training models can stimulate students’ learning motivation and improve nursing students’ critical thinking ability and clinical nursing ability. Objective structured training is more effective than conventional training.
