ObjectivesTo develop the supervision and evaluation index system for clinical teaching quality management for clinical teaching hospitails,in order to provide effective teaching quality supervision and evaluation tools for clinical nursing teaching managers,and to provide reference for the improvement and reform of clinical nursing teaching work.MethodsThis study used a mixed research methods,including literature review,quantitative research,quanlitative research and expert group meeting.1.Qualitative research method: Semi-structured interview method was used to conduct with 8 clinical nursing teaching managers,11 clinical nursing teachers and 16 undergraduate nursing inters,and the data was analyzed by Colaizzi phenomenological analysis method.2.Delphi method: Based on the literature review,qualitative research,three-dimensional quality evaluation model,and combined with the clinical teaching requirements of nursing undergraduate interns,the preliminary content of the supervision and evaluation index system of clinical nursing teaching quality management was developed.Through two rounds of Delphi expert consultation with 26 experts,the outcome evaluation index system was established.3.Analytic Hierarchy Process: On the basis of the Delphi method,the Analytic Hierarchy Process was used to determine the weights coefficients of all indexes.4.Questionnaire method: Based on the established evaluation index system,a questionnaire was prepared and used to investigate 219 clinical nursing teachers in 6 Third Class Hospital in Guangzhou,in order to test the reliability and validity of the index system.Results1.Colaizzi method was used to analyze the text,and the results showed that the perspectives of students and teachers were mutually verified and supplemented.Five themes were summarized from the interview results of clinical nursing teaching managers: teaching resources,teaching implementation,teaching management,teaching effectiveness,supervision methods.Six themes were summarized from the interview results of clinical nursing teachers: conducive to improving their management ability;teaching supervision is not timely;psychological stress;the head nurse’s support is not enough;the model of superior teaching supervise is single.Six themes were summarized from the interview results of undergraduate nursing inters: improving learning consciousness and cooperation;training the ability of lectures and rounds;enhancing work responsibility;increasing communication opportunities between teachers and students;lack of scientific research supervision;less communication with the head nurse.2.After two rounds of expert consultation,questionnaire response rates were 92.86%,100%;expert authority coefficients were 0.871,0.887.In the first round,about the importance scores of all indexes,the averages ranged from 4.35 to 5.00,the full scores ratio ranged from 38.86% to 100%,the coefficients of variation ranged from 0.00 to 0.15.In the second round,about the importance scores of all indexes,the averages ranged from 4.19 to4.96,the full scores ratio ranged from 21.08% to 96.15%,the coefficients of variation ranged from 0.04 to 0.12.In the two rounds of consultation results,the Kendall’s coefficients of concordance at all levels ranged from 0.256 to 0.667 and 0.402 to 0.804respectively;the total Kendall’s coefficients of concordance were 0.188,0.356,and the difference was statistically significant after testing(P<0.01).The final outcome evaluation index system consisted of 3 first-level indicators,9 second-level indicators,and 36third-level indicators.3.The results of AHP show that the weight of factor quality was 0.250,the weight of link quality was 0.250,and the weight of terminal quality was 0.500.The weights of the second-level indicators were 0.196~0.493,the combined weights were 0.049~0.247.The weights of the third-level indicators were 0.098~0.500,the combined weights were0.005~0.099;the CR value of each index layer were less than 0.1,all passed the consistency test.4.The reliability analysis results of the index system in this study showed that the overall Cronbach’s α coefficient was 0.899,and the Cronbach’s α coefficients of each index layer were 0.619,0.856,0.804 respectively.Among them,the Cronbach’s α coefficient of“factor quality” is 0.619 and the Cronbach’s α coefficients of other indicators at all levels are greater than 0.80.A total of 10 common factors with eigenvalues greater than 1 were extracted,and the cumulative contribution to the total variance was 68.046%.Each item had a higher load on a common factor,and most of the extracted common factors were consistent with the structure assumed in the design of the questionnaire,so the construct validity was acceptable.ConclusionsUsing “three-dimensional quality evaluation” model as the theoretical framework,we established the supervision and evaluation index system of clinical nursing teaching quality management.Experts had better representation,higher degree of concern for this study and familiarity with the content of the evaluation system.The opinions and suggestions from the experts were authoritative and the result of data analysis was reliable.The index system could provide reference for the supervision of teaching quality of clinical nursing.
