| Purpose:To investigate the relationship between the decline rate of intact parathyroid hormone(iPTH)and the improvement of bone pain in maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)patients with secondary hyperparathyroidism(SHPT).Methods:A total of 78 SHPT patients were enrolled in regular hemodialysis in the Department of Nephrology of Affiliated Zhongshan Hospital of Xiamen University and received calcitriol-lowering iPTH treatment. All the patients received calcitriol-lowering iPTH treatment for 3 months, and were divided into fast group and slow group according to whether the decrease degree was more than 50%.Fast-fasting venous blood was collected to detect hemoglobin(Hb)and serum calcium(Ca).Serum phosphorus(P),iPTH alkaline phosphatase(ALP)bone alkaline phosphatase(BALP);The changes of related indexes in the two groups after treatment were compared and analyzed, and the relationship between the decreasing rate of IPTH and the improvement of various indexes and bone pain was analyzed. Results:After 3 months of treatment,iPTH,BALP level in the fast group was lower than that in the slow group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The pain score of the fast group was higher than that of the slow group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in Hb,Ca,ALP and P levels between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion:The decline rate of iPTH was positively correlated with serum BALP concentration and bone pain symptoms in patients:the faster the decline of iPTH,the lower the serum BALP concentration and the more obvious the bone pain. |
