| Objective: Objective to analyze the reliability and validity of the Brief International Classification of Function,Disability and Health(ICF)-Core Set for subacute spinal cord injury(SCI)in thoracic and lumbar spinal cord injuries.Method: A total of 102 patients with subacute thoracic and lumbar spinal cord injuries were selected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from July 2018 to March 2021.Reviewer A was assessed with the Brief ICF-Core Set for subacute SCI and Spinal Cord Independence Measure Ⅲ(SCIM Ⅲ).Within 24 hours, reviewer B assessed the same patient using the Brief ICF-Core Set for subacute SCI.The data were analyzed by SPSS24.0.Reliability analysis shall use inter-rater reliability and internal consistency reliability, and validity analysis shall use construct validity and criterion validity.Cronbach αcoefficient was used for internal consistency reliability analysis;Kappa value was used for inter reviewer reliability analysis;Spearman correlation coefficient was used for criterion validity analysis;Exploratory factor analysis was used for structural validity analysis.Result:(1)Reliability: Internal consistency reliability: Body function field Cronbach α coefficient was 0.655.The coefficient of Cronbach α in the field of activities and participation was 0.925.Cronbach α average coefficient in the fields of body structure and environment were both less than 0.6.The overall Cronbach α coefficient was 0.907.Reviewer reliability: The kappa values of 25 categories ranged from 0.426 to 0.955.(2)Validity: Criterion validity: In addition to environmental factors, the total scores of body function, body structure, activity and participation in ICF-Core Set for subacute spinal cord injury were moderately to highly negatively correlated with the total score of SCIM(r =-0.623 ~-0.818),and the overall score was highly negatively correlated with the total score of SCIM(r =-0.858);Construct validity: Common factor 1 included item d450 ability,d420 ability,d410 ability,d510 ability,d530 ability and d540 ability;Common factor 2 included item b620,b525,b730,s120,d450 performance,d410 performance,d530 performance and d540 performance;Common factor 3included d445 performance and ability,d550 performance and ability,d560 performance and ability.Common factor 4 included items b735,b152,d420 performance,d510 performance,e310,e115 and e120;The common factor 5included b440 and s430,and the cumulative variance contribution rate was62.569%.Conclusion: The Brief ICF-Core Set for subacute spinal cord injury had good internal consistency reliability, inter rater reliability, criterion validity and construct validity, which could be used as a reliable assessment tool for dysfunction of patients with subacute thoracic and lumbar spinal cord injuries. |
