students scored significantly higher than male nursing students in the"delayed start" dimension(P<0.01).The scores of the first-year nursing students on the"delayed start" and "poor completion" dimension were significantly higher than that of the second-year nursing students(bothP<0.05).Nursing students with a rural place of origin had significantly higher scores on the "delayed start" dimension than those with a urban place of origin(P<0.01;P<0.05).The scores of non-one-child nursing students in the "delayed start"dimension were significantly higher than that of one-child nursing students(P<0.01).The total academic procrastination score and scores of all dimensions in nursing students whose academic performance in the last 1/3 were significantly higher than those whose academic performance in the first 1/3 and in the middle 1/3(both P<0.001).The total academic procrastination score and the scores of all dimensions in nursing students whose academic performance in the middle 1/3 were significantly higher than those whose academic performance in the first 1/3(both P<0.001).The scores of non-cadre nursing students in the“delayed start" dimension were P<0.001).The self-control score in higher vocational nursing students was(59.81±11.71),which was significantly negatively correlated with the total score of academic procrastination and its scores on various dimensions(r=-0.440、-0.365、-0.360、-0.297,all P<0.001).4.The multiple linear regression analysis on academic procrastination in higher vocational nursing students The results of the multiple
