Research On Wu Jutong’s Academic Thought Of Epidemic Syndrome Treatment

Objective:This paper summarizes Wu Jutong’s academic thoughts on the prevention and treatment of epidemic diseases,systematically combs and analyzes his syndrome types,treatment methods and prescriptions for the differentiation and treatment of epidemic diseases,explores and expounds his academic thoughts on the differentiation and treatment of epidemic diseases,and explores characteristic diagnosis and treatment experience,in order to better inherit Wu Jutong’s academic experience and be beneficial to the prevention and control of infectious diseases today.Methods: By reading The Case of epidemic in “Wu Jutong’s Medical Case ” and consulteing relevant literature in the data of CNKI,Wanfang,VIP,Chinese Medical Code and so on,This paper systematically sorted out and summarized Wu Jutong’s epidemic syndrome and treatment rules,comprehensively analyzed them to establish his common witness type,treatment method,representative prescription and typical cases,and systematically summarized Wu Jutong’s academic thoughts on epidemic differentiation and treatment from the aspects of "theory,method,prescription and medicine".Results: Wu Jutong has rich experience in epidemic prevention and treatment,and has unique views on the definition,onset,treatment,medication and protection of epidemic.His academic thoughts on epidemic prevention and treatment have enriched the theoretical system of exogenous diseases in traditional Chinese medicine,and have theoretical guiding significance for the prevention and treatment of modern infectious diseases.1.Wu Jutong explicitly proposed to name some of the febrile diseases with strong infectivity,epidemic and similar symptoms as "febrile epidemic".2.Wu Jutong pointed out that the disease of febrile epidemic was characterized by "li Qi",which was warm and often accompanied by filth,which was different from warm heat and damp heat.Severe gas from the mouth and nose into the human body,easy to invade multiple viscera.The incidence and prevalence of the epidemic are the result of natural and social factors.3.The policy of epidemic control always takes "removing evil" as the first priority,and removing evil should be early and removing evil should be done.4.The treatment of the epidemic by protecting Yin,clearing heat,by filthiness.Because of the rapid spread of epidemic evil,often involving multiple viscera,so the clinical symptoms often use compound method,compound to enhance the curative effect 5.In the “Wu Jutong’s Medical Case ”,recorded the syndrome types of evil invading the lung,the same disease of wei qi,the obstruction of filth and turbidities,the consolidation of Yang Ming fu,jin deficiency and intestinal dryness,qi ying(blood)and two burnt burnt,heat trapping and Yin,residual evil retention and so on,and had corresponding treatment and prescription.6.Characteristics of Wu Jutong’s febrile disease medication: risk syndrome of heavy dose treatment;Be skilled in using aromas;Drug frequency-taking;Like to use decoction powder.7.The contraindications for the treatment of epidemic februarism are as follows: do not urinate strongly,avoid sweating due to warm heat,obstruct macula,supplement Yin to prevent greasy,do not suddenly reduce shrinkage.8.Methods of temperature protection: Collecting and nourishing to guard against evil;Protect nose and mouth from evil offenders;Temperate epidemic disease in reasonable diet to prevent disease;At the beginning of the epidemic do not overwork to prevent repeated illness;Prevent relapse.9.Prescriptions such as Yinqiao Powder,Yunvjian,Relief Puji Powder,Sanren Soup,Qinggong Soup,Angong Niuhuang Pill and Purple citron have been widely used in the prevention and treatment of modern infectious diseases with remarkable efficacy.Conclusion:Wu Jutong,based on the theory of epidemic differentiation and treatment of his predecessors,combined with his own clinical experience,confirmed the concept of epidemic and pointed out that the evil factor causing epidemic was "severe qi",which was mostly dirty.It is pointed out that the epidemic is influenced by natural and social factors.The treatment of epidemic febrile disease mainly focuses on clearing heat,eliminating filth and nourishing Yin,with early treatment,removing evil and focusing on post-treatment and nursing.Various syndrome types of epidemic febrile disease,especially the syndrome of evil depression and jue Yin and the syndrome of qi Ying(blood),were treated according to syndrome differentiation,and aromatic drugs were used to remove impurities and turbidity,and heavy drugs were used to treat epidemic febrile disease.
