Objective:By investigating the bone mineral density(BMD)and related metabolic indicators of the Korean and Han nationalities in Yanbian,to analyze the status of the two ethnic groups bone mineral density and ethnic differences.Further popularize OP-related knowledge, provide a more scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of OP in the Korean and Han ethnic groups in Yanbian, and provide a more solid foundation for improving their quality of life and health. Methods:The relevant data of the Korean and Han nationalities over the age of 19 in the Affiliated Hospital of Yanbian University from July 2020 to June 2021 were selected.A total of 1663 people met the inclusion criteria, including 888 males and 775 females, including 463 Han males with an average age of 48.42±13.27 years and 400 Han females with an average age of 49.40±11.52 years. There were 425 Korean males with an average age of 48.89±13.23 years, and 375 Korean females with an average age of 50.56±11.15 years.BMD examination was improved in all patients. All subjects were classified and discussed according to nationality and gender.According to the classification of primary osteoporosis, they were divided into three groups under 40 years old,40-60 years old and over 60 years old for OP disease analysis. The age of peak BMD of lumbar 1-4(L1-4)and total hip in male and female were studied according to the age group of 5 years.Systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, height and weight were measured in all populations to calculate body mass index(BMI).Laboratory test data included FBG,TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,ALP,UA,P and Ca.SPSS26.0 statistical software was used for analysis, and the risk factors of OP were analyzed by ordered multi-classification Logistic regression. Results: 1.From the perspective of ethnic comparison: the prevalence of OP in Korean women was17.6%,and that in Han women was 11.8%,with statistical significance(P<0.05).The prevalence of OP in Korean and Han men was 2.6% and 1.7%,respectively,with no significant difference(P>0.05).2.In terms of gender: the average BMD of L1-4,femoral neck and hip of Korean women was lower than that of Korean men,and the prevalence of OP was higher than that of Korean men, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The average BMD of L1-4,femoral neck and hip of Han women was lower than that of Han men,and the prevalence of OP was higher than that of male of the same nationality, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.In Korean male, the peak of L1-4 bone appeared at 35 to 39 years old,and the peak of total hip bone appeared at 29 years old and below. The peak of L1-4 bone appeared in han male under 35 years old,and the peak of total hip bone appeared in 29 years old and below. The peak values of L1-4 and total hip bone appeared in Korean women at 35-39 years old,and in Han women at 29 years old and below.4.Prevalence and age of OP: There was no incidence of OP in both men and women under 45 years old. With the increase of age,the prevalence of OP in both men and women showed a trend of rapid increase.5.Related risk factors: The risk factors of OP in both ethnic groups were age and BMI.The risk factors of OP in Korean women were age, systolic blood pressure and menopause. The risk factors for OP in Han women were age,ALP and menopause. Conclusions: 1.There are ethnic differences in the prevalence of OP in Yanbian, the prevalence of OP in Korean women was higher than that in Han women.2.There were gender differences in BMD in Yanbian, the average BMD of females in both ethnic groups was significantly lower than that of males.3.The prevalence of OP in male and female of Korean and Han nationality increased gradually after 45 years old.4.Advanced age,low BMI,systolic blood pressure,ALP and menopause are risk factors for OP.
