The Rapeutic Characteristics Of Yangxue Qingnao Pill Combined With Amlodipine In The Treatment Of Isolated Systolic Hypertension In The Elderly

Objective: To observe the antihypertensive effect,characteristics and safety of Yangxue Qingnao pill combined with amlodipine in elderly patients with isolated systolic hypertension(ISH).Methods: The trial came from a multi center and large sample clinical trial in China.Our hospital participated in the study as a sub center.40 patients will be divided into experimental group(n=19)and control group(n=21).The total trial period was 24 weeks,a double-blind,randomized and controlled study was used.Visits were conducted after the 12 th and 24 th weeks of the trial to observe and record the consulting Clinic Blood Pressure(CBP),24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring(24h ABPM)and Adverse Reactions.The efficacy,characteristics and safety of Yangxue Qingnao pill were evaluated by comparing and analyzing the data between and within the group.Results:(1)There was no significant difference in baseline demographic and clinical characteristics between the two groups before treatment(P >0.05);(2)After 12 weeks of treatment,the Se SBP of 2 groups was significantly lower than that before treatment(P < 0.05),but there were no significant differences in other indexes(P > 0.05),and there were no significant differences between 2 groups(P > 0.05);After 24 weeks of treatment,the Se SBP and Se DBP of the two groups and the Se PP of the treatment group decreased as compared with before treatment(P < 0.05),and the Se SBP and Se PP of the experimental group decreased more significantly than that of the control group(P < 0.05)and there was no statistical significance in the Se DBP value between groups(P > 0.05);(3)After 24 weeks of treatment,compared with the control group,the decrease of 24 h SBP,n SBP,24 h SBP-L,n SBP-L and 24 h PP in the experimental group treated with Yangxue Qingnao pill was more obvious,and the comparison between the groups was statistically significant(P < 0.05).It showed that Yangxue Qingnao pill mainly reduced the average SBP and SBP-L at night,but there was no significant difference among d SBP,DBP,d SBP-L and DBP-L groups(P > 0.05);(4)There were no serious adverse reactions in both groups during the test.Conclusion:Compared with amlodipine alone,Yangxue Qingnao pill group may have more advantages in reducing SBP and PP after 24 weeks.Its hypotensive feature may be to stabilize blood pressure and correct the abnormal rhythm of nocturnal blood pressure by reducing the average SBP and nocturnal blood pressure load.It may be more suitable for the treatment of nocturnal hypertension,non dipper type and anti dipper type elderly ISH.The addition of Yangxue Qingnao pill has no significant effect on the decrease of diastolic blood pressure and diurnal blood pressure,and the effective time window of hypotension is relatively long,which may take 24 weeks or more.During the test,Yangxue Qingnao pill showed good safety and no serious adverse reactions.It can be seen that its clinical application is safe and reliable.
