Clinical Observation Of Tongbi Decoction In The Treatment Of Postoperative Syndrome Of Lumbar Disc Herniation

Objective: The purpose of this paper is to observe the clinical efficacy of self-made Tongbi Decoction in the treatment of postoperative syndrome of lumbar disc herniation through posterior discectomy and interbody fusion(PLIF),and to explore the application value and mechanism of Tongbi Decoction in the treatment of postoperative syndrome of lumbar disc herniation,To provide reference for the clinical treatment of postoperative syndrome of lumbar disc herniation in the future.Methods: In this study,60 inpatients in the spine orthopaedics department of the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of traditional Chinese medicine(Shandong hospital of traditional Chinese Medicine)from October 2020 to October 2021 were selected.Aftersymptoms,signs and imaging examination,they were identified as lumbar disc herniation(LDH)and single segment lesions,and PLIF surgery was performed during hospitalization.All cases were sorted according to the time of admission and numbered 1-60.They were randomly divided into two groups: Traditional Chinese medicine combined with conventional treatment group and simple conventional treatment group(that is,the observation group was treated with Tongbi Decoction + nutritional nerve,anti-inflammatory and analgesic treatment,and the control group was treated with nutritional nerve,anti-inflammatory and analgesic treatment),with 30 cases in each group.Record the VAS score,ODI score and JOA score of all patients before operation,1 week after operation and 4 weeks after operation.At the same time,count the actual hospital stay,subjective satisfaction and total effective rate of treatment.Process the collected data with SPSS software to obtain the research results.Results:1.There was no significant difference in gender,age,VAS,ODI,JOA and other data before operation,which can be used for the observation and comparison of the curative effect after PLIFoperation.2.Intra group comparison: there were significant statistical differences in VAS,ODI and JOA scores at each observation time node before and after operation(P < 0.05),and VAS score and ODI score showed a continuous downward trend and JOA score showed a continuous upward trend at each time node after operation.3.Preoperative There was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups(P > 0.05).The VAS pain score of the two groups decreased significantly after operation.There was no significant difference between the control group and the observation group after 1 week of treatment.After 4 weeks of treatment,the patients in the two groups approached,and the observation group was better than the control group.There was no significant difference in vas numbness score between the two groups after 1 week of treatment.After 4 weeks of treatment,the improvement of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group.The ODI scores of the two groups decreased after 1 week of treatment,but there was no significant difference between the two groups.After 4 weeks of treatment,theobservation group was significantly better than the control group.The JOA scores of the two groups were also significantly improved,showing a state of continuous improvement.After 1 week of treatment,the effect of the control group was better,and after4 weeks of treatment,the effect of the observation group was better.4.Total effective rate: 100% in the observation group was significantly better than 93.33% in the control group(P = 0.008< 0.05).It is suggested that Tongbi Decoction can significantly improve the total effective rate of treatment.5.Comparison of average hospital stay: the average hospital stay of patients in the observation group was 7.8 days,slightly less than 7.83 days in the control group,suggesting that Tongbi Decoction can shorten the hospital stay of patients with lumbar disc herniation to a certain extent,reduce the medical burden of patients,and improve the utilization efficiency of medical beds6.Subjective satisfaction: the observation group was 96.67%,which was significantly better than 80% of the control group,suggesting that Tongbi Decoction can effectively improve thesubjective satisfaction of patients.Conclusion: After PLIF operation for patients with lumbar disc herniation,the use of Tongbi Decoction on the basis of routine treatment can further alleviate the pain of patients,promote the recovery of postoperative lumbar function and improve the subjective satisfaction of patients.There are no obvious side effects in the treatment.It has obvious curative effect on the treatment of postoperative syndrome of lumbar disc herniation,The therapeutic effect after addition is better than that of routine treatment with western medicine alone,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
