Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of pinggantiaoshen tuina therapy in the treatment of chronic tension headache with hyperactivity of liver Yang, and to provide a new tuina method for clinical treatment.Methods:60 patients with chronic tension headache with hyperactivity of liver Yang were divided into treatment group and control group according to random number table, with 30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with pinggantiaoshen tuina, while the control group was treated with conventional tuina. The tuina time in both groups was 25min,once every other day,and 4 weeks was a course of treatment. After one course of treatment to observe general curative effect, two groups of patients before and after treatment of VAS score, headache index, the essence of liver Yang syndrome integral,Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)and Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)scores, and end in the course of 1 month follow-up evaluation after the headache index, statistical processing, evaluation the clinical curative effect of chronic tension-type headach by pinggantiaoshen tuina therapy.Results:1.VAS score:Before treatment, there was no statistical difference in VAS score between 2 groups(P>0.05);VAS scores of the two groups after treatment were lower than before, and the score of the treatment group was lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).2.Headache index:before treatment, there was no statistical difference in headache index between 2 groups(P>0.05);After treatment, the headache index in both groups decreased and the headache index in the treatment group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.001).3.Syndrome score of hyperactivity of liver Yang:The total score of hyperactivity of liver Yang syndrome in both groups decreased after treatment compared with before treatment, and the treatment group was better than the control group(P<0.001);In the single symptom score of hyperactivity of liver Yang syndrome, after treatment, the scores of each single symptom in both groups were significantly lower than before treatment(P<0.05);The comparison between the two groups showed that after treatment, the scores of head swelling pain or throttling pain, irritability, hot, redness of face and eyes, dry mouth and bitter mouth and tinnitus in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there was no statistical difference in the tongue coating and pulse condition score between the two groups(P>0.05).4.HAMA and HAMD scores:There was no significant difference in HAMA and HAMD scores between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05);After treatment, the HAMA and HAMD of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.001).5.Overall efficacy evaluation:the total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.67%,higher than 80.00%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.Follow up recurrence:during the follow-up,the effective rate of the treatment group was 76.67%,which was higher than 66.67%of the control group. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:In Chronic Tension-type headache(hyperactivity of liver Yang)patients, the improvement degree and long-term curative effect of smoothing liver and regulating spirit massage are better than conventional massage in VAS score, headache index, syndrome of hyperactivity of liver Yang,HAMA and HAMD score, which is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
