Improvement And Clinical Application Of Vestibular Rehabilitation Exercises Based On Wuji Ball

Objective: Rehabilitation training for patients with peripheral vestibular dizziness in remission period is carried out through the vestibular function rehabilitation exercise with infinity ball,so as to reduce the discomfort of patients with peripheral vestibular vertigo in the recovery period,reduce dizziness,instability and anxiety,and provide patients with safe,interesting,simple and effective rehabilitation.Methods: Patients who were diagnosed with peripheral vestibular vertigo were selected for inclusion in the clinical study.A randomized controlled clinical trial(RCT)was used to equally divide 60 subjects into a treatment group and a control group.Among them,the treatment group adopted the vestibular function rehabilitation exercise with Wuji ball,which was performed once a day at 6:00 in the morning and 18:00 in the afternoon.The control group used vestibular function rehabilitation exercises,once a day at 6:00 am and 18:00 pm.The score changes of the Vertigo Disorder Inventory(DHI)and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Assessment Scale(HADS)scores before and after rehabilitation training in the two groups were observed.Results: After rehabilitation training,the DHI score and HADS score of the two groups of patients were decreased compared with those before treatment,and the treatment group was significantly lower than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 86.67%,indicating that the symptom improvement of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions: The efficacy of the vestibular function rehabilitation training exercise with the Wuji ball in the treatment of peripheral vestibular vertigo is better than that of the vestibular function rehabilitation exercise,and it is worthy of clinical promotion.
