| Objective Through clinical observation,study the clinical efficacy of Huaji Zhitong decoction combined with loxoprofen sodium tablets in the treatment of limbs pain caused by albumin-bound paclitaxel,and evaluate its impact on the degree of pain relief and the quality of life of patients,so as to provide more theoretical and clinical research basis for the application of Traditional Chinese Medicine prescriptions in the treatment of limbs pain caused by albumin-bound paclitaxel.Methods In this clinical study,a total of 60 patients who met the inclusion criteria were collected and randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The intervention was started from the first day of limbs pain after chemotherapy.The control group was given loxoprofen sodium tablets 60 mg bid(morning and evening)for 7 days;The observation group was added with oral Huaji Zhitong decoction on the basis of the control group,decocted with 250 ml bid(morning and evening)for 7 days.The Numerical Rating Scale(NRS),pain relief time,treatment efficiency,serum Creatine Kinase(CK),Lactate Dehydrogenase(LDH),Interleukin-6(IL-6),Karnofsky Performance Status(KPS),changes of accompanying symptoms and the occurrence of adverse reactions were observed before and after treatment in both groups.Results(1)Clinical efficacy: The total effective rate of the observation group was 96.67%,and that of the control group was 86.67%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)Pain control: Through treatment,the NRS pain score in both the observation group and the control group decreased(P<0.01),and the degree of decline in the observation group was more obvious than that in the control group(P<0.05);The pain relief time of the observation group was(1.68 ± 0.61)hours and that of the control group was(2.06 ± 0.58)hours,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Biochemical indexes: The levels of serum Creatine Kinase(CK)and Interleukin-6(IL-6)in both the observation group and the control group decreased after treatment(P<0.01),and the degree of decline in the observation group was more obvious than that in the control group(P < 0.05);There was no significant difference in serum Lactate Dehydrogenase(LDH)between the observation group and the control group before and after treatment(P>0.05).(4)Quality of life: The KPS score of the observation group was improved through treatment(P < 0.05),while that of the control group was not significantly improved(P>0.05).(5)Concomitant symptom relief: Through treatment,the relief of numbness of hands and feet,abnormal limb sensation and adverse joint flexion and extension in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).(6)Adverse reactions: there were 0 cases,2 cases and 1 case of nausea,anorexia and dizziness in the observation group and 5 cases,10 cases and 2 cases in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Huaji Zhitong decoction combined with loxoprofen sodium tablets has achieved good clinical efficacy in the treatment of limbs pain caused by albumin-bound paclitaxel,which can significantly reduce the pain of patients.The effective time is shorter than that of loxoprofen sodium tablet alone,and it is effective in relieving the symptoms of numbness of hands and feet,abnormal limbs sensation and adverse flexion and extension of joints accompanied by pain.At the same time,it can improve the level of serum Creatine Kinase(CK)and interleukin-6(IL-6),reduce the occurrence of nausea,anorexia,dizziness and other adverse reactions caused by loxoprofen sodium tablets,and improve the quality of life of patients,consider the correlation with reducing the production of creatine kinase and inflammatory factors.It further provides clinical treatment ideas for the treatment of chemotherapy side effects with integrated Traditional Chinese and Western medicine,which is worthy of popularization and application. |
