Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Diarrhea In Children With Spleen Deficiency By Heshu Massage

ObJective:To observe and compare the clinical efficacy of two different massage methods of heshu manipulation and routine massage in improving the symptoms of children diarrhea with spleen deficiency,in order to further improve the clinical efficacy of massage therapy in the treatment of children diarrhea,in order to promote and use heshu manipulation in clinical practice.Methods:A total of 60 children with spleen deficiency diarrhea who met the inclusion criteria from February 2021 to February 2022 in the outpatient department of massage,pediatric outpatient department and preventive treatment center of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected and randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the order of treatment time,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with routine massage intervention for children diarrhea,while the treatment group was treated with hesu massage intervention.The children in the two groups were treated once a day for seven days.The TCM diarrhea syndrome scores and clinical efficacy of the two groups before and after treatment were observed and recorded.SPSS 21.0 software was used for statistical analysis of the observation results.Results:(1)In Hezhu Tuina group,8 cases were cured,14 cases markedly effective,6 cases effective,2 cases ineffective,the total effective rate was 93.3%;among the 30 children in the conventional massage group,4 were cured,10markedly effective,12 effective,and 4 ineffective,with the total effective rate of 86.67%.There was no significant difference in the effective rate between the two groups(c~2=2.0,P>0.05).However,the clinical efficacy of the two groups was significantly different by rank sum test(Z=-2.057,P=0.040),indicating that the clinical efficacy of the combined manipulation group was better than that of the conventional manipulation group.(2)After treatment,the total scores of TCM symptoms,the total scores of secondary symptoms,the number of stools and the total scores of stool traits in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.05).There were significant differences in the total scores of TCM syndromes and the scores of primary and secondary symptoms between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion:Hezhu massage can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of children with diarrhea of spleen deficiency type,and has definite clinical curative effect on diarrhea of spleen deficiency type,which is worthy of promotion and application in clinic.
