| Objective:The topic is based on the theory of “one qi circulation”,patients with insomnia due to deficiency of heart and spleen were chosen as the research subjects,in order to observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture for regulating the ascending and descending of middle qi,and to explore the clinical acupuncture treatment for insomnia due to deficiency of heart and spleen. Methods:A total of 70 patients diagnosed with insomnia of heart and spleen deficiency were included in this study. All patients were recruited by diagnostic criteria of both Western and Chinese Medicine for insomnia, and screened for exclusion criteria, who were from Xiamen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital from January 2021 to December 2021.The patients were divided into a test group and a control group,of which 2 patiens fell off in the test group and 3 patients in the control group. There were 33 patiens in the test group, and 32 patiens in the control group. The enrolled patients were treated once every other day,7 times(2 weeks)as a course of treatment, the two groups were continuously treated for 2 courses(14 times,4weeks),with the duration of 30 minutes per session. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI),traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome and sign scale were filled out before and after treatment to evaluate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture regulating the ascending and descending of the middle qi based on the theory of “one qi circulation”.The SPSS25.0software was used to analyze the data of this subject, and P<0.05 was considered as the standard of statistical significance. Results: The patients who finally completed the research on this subject were 33 in the test group and 32 in the control group. There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups of patients in general information such as gender, age, course of disease(P>0.05),and they were comparable.1.PSQI score: intra-group comparison:after treatment, the PSQI each facter score and total score of both groups were lower than before treatment, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Comparison between groups: The total score of PSQI and the single score of sleep quality, sleep time, and daytime dysfuntion in the test group were better than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05),there was no significant difference between the two groups in improving sleep time, sleep efficiency and sleep disturbance(P>0.05).2.TCM syndrome score:intra-group comparison: after treatment, the total score of syndrome and the single score in of syndrome in the two groups were lower than before treatment, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Comparison between groups: the total score of syndrome, the single score of restless sleep, tiredness, abdominal distension in the test group were better than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05),there was no significant difference between the two groups in improving the single symptom scores of dreaminess, palpitations, lack of appetite, forgetfulness, loose stools, paleness, tongue and pulse(P>0.05).3.According to the PSQI score reduction rate before and after treatment,: the total effective rate of the test group was 90.9%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 84.4%with no statistical significance(P>0.05).the recovery and remarkable response rate was 72.7%in the test group, and the recovery and remarkable response rate was 46.9% in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.05).The difference of overall curative effect was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions:Acupuncture based on the theory of "one qi circulation" and conventional acupuncture can both improve the overall sleep quality of patients with insomnia due to deficiency of heart and spleen.Acupuncture for regulating the gas lift of middle qi can improve overall sleep quality, there are advantages in sleep quality, sleep time, daytime dysfunction, and TCM concomitant symptoms. |
