| Objective To observe the effect of moxibustion at Sanyinjiao point on body surface temperature of spleen and kidney meridians and microcirculatory blood perfusion units(MBPU)in patients with cold dysmenorrhea with yang deficiency. At the same time,to explore the meridian of Sanyinjiao point, and the correlation between dysmenorrhea and spleen and kidney meridian combined with the clinical effects,to provide the experimental basis for clinical treatment of dysmenorrhea.MethodsIn this study,17 healthy volunteers with regular menstruation were included in the normal group and 34 patients with dysmenorrhea with yang deficiency and internal cold were included in the dysmenorrhea group. The body surface temperature and MBPU of the spleen and kidney meridians in the two groups were observed.During the menstrual and premenstrual period. The effect of moxibustion on the body surface temperature and MBPU of the spleen and kidney meridians were compared in the two groups. And the visual analogue score(VAS),the integral of dysmenorrhea symptoms and the correlation between dysmenorrhea and spleen and kidney meridians were evaluated before and after treatment in the dysmenorrhea group. Finally all data were analyzed through statistical procedures.Results1.Comparison of body surface temperature and MBPU of spleen and kidney meridians in two groups during menstruation(1)Under the natural state of menstrual period, the body surface temperature of the spleen meridian in the dysmenorrhea group was lower than that in the normal group, but the difference did not reach statistical significance;the body surface temperature of the kidney meridian in the dysmenorrhea group was lower than that in the normal group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)Under the natural state of menstrual period, the MBPU of the spleen and kidney meridians in dysmenorrhea group was significantly lower than that of the normal group(P<0.05,P<0.05).2.Comparison of body surface temperature and MBPU of the spleen and kidney meridians in the two groups in the premenstrual period(1)Under the natural state of premenstrual period, the body surface temperature of the spleen and kidney meridians in the dysmenorrhea group was lower than that in the normal group, but the difference was not statistically significant.(2)In the natural state of premenstrual period, the MBPU of the spleen meridian in the dysmenorrhea group was lower than that of the normal group, but the difference was not statistically significant;the MBPU of the kidney meridian in the dysmenorrhea group was not significantly different from that of the normal group.3.The effect of moxibustion on the body surface temperature and MBPU of the spleen and kidney meridians in the two groups(1)Observation of the immediate effect of moxibustion on the body surface temperature and MBPU of the spleen and kidney meridians in the two groups1)Observation of the immediate effect of moxibustion on the body surface temperature of the spleen and kidney meridians in the two groups(1)After 30 minutes of moxibustion in the normal group, the body surface temperature of the spleen meridian was significantly increased(P<0.01);the body surface temperature of the kidney meridian was also increased.(P<0.05).(2)After 30 minutes of moxibustion in dysmenorrhea group, the body surface temperature of the spleen and kidney meridians were significantly increased.(P<0.01,P<0.01).2)Observation of the immediate effect of moxibustion on the MBPU of the spleen and kidney meridians in the two groups(1)After 30 minutes of moxibustion in the normal group, the MBPU of the spleen and kidney meridians both increased, but the difference did not reach statistical significance.(2)After 30 minutes of moxibustion in dysmenorrhea group,MBPU of the spleen meridian increased significantly(P<0.05);MBPU of the kidney meridian showed an increasing trend, but the difference did not reach statistical significance.(2)The improvement effect of moxibustion on the temperature and MBPU of the spleen and kidney meridians in the two groups during menstrual period.1)The improvement of Moxibustion on the temperature of the spleen and kidney meridians in the two groups during menstrual period.(1)After moxibustion in the normal group, the body surface temperature of the spleen and kidney meridians did not change significantly.(2)After moxibustion in dysmenorrhea group, there was no significant change in the body surface temperature of the spleen and kidney meridians.2)The improvement of moxibustion on the MBPU of the spleen and kidney meridians in the two groups(1)After moxibustion in the normal group, there was no significant change in MBPU of the spleen and kidney meridians.(2)After moxibustion in the dysmenorrhea group, the MBPU of the spleen and kidney meridians both increased significantly(P<0.05,P<0.05).4.Efficacy of dysmenorrhea and its correlation with the spleen and kidney meridians(1)The efficacy of Sanyinjiao in treatment of dysmenorrhea due to yang deficiency and internal cold1).VAS: The dysmenorrhea group, there was no difference in VAS before treatment Compared with in the last menstrual cycle While, after treatment, the VAS was significantly decreased(P<0.01).2).The integral of dysmenorrhea symptoms: No difference in dysmenorrhea symptom before treatment and last menstrual cycle in dysmenorrhea group However, after treatment, the integral of dysmenorrhea symptom significantly decreased(P<0.01).3).After treatment, lower abdominal pain was significantly relieved, with an effective rate of71%,and dysmenorrhea symptoms were markedly improved, with an effective rate of 45%.(2)The correlation between dysmenorrhea and the spleen and kidney meridians1).Before treatment, there were no significant correlation among the VAS of dysmenorrhea,h the body surface temperature and the MBPU of the spleen and kidney meridians.2).After treatment, the VAS of dysmenorrhea was negatively correlated with MBPU of the spleen meridian(P<0.01),There were no significant correlations among the VAS,the body surface temperature of the spleen and kidney meridians, and the MBPU of the kidney meridians.Conclusions1.In the natural state, the body surface temperature and MBPU of kidney meridian in patients with dysmenorrhea due to yang-deficiency and internal cold were lower than those of healthy volunteers, especially during menstruation.2.Moxibustion at Sanyinjiao point can improve the body surface temperature and MBPU of the spleen and kidney meridians, which can reflect the regulation of sanyinjiao point on the spleen and kidney meridians to a certain extent, especially on the kidney meridian. These can provide some evidence for Sanyinjiao point as confluent acupoint of the spleen and kidney meridians,as well as its return to meridian.3.Moxibustion at Sanyinjiao point can effectively relieve the pain in lower abdomen of patients with cold dysmenorrhea in yang deficiency and improve the related symptoms of dysmenorrhea. |
