Purpose To observe the VAS score,EHP-5 score and TCM syndrome score of traditional Chinese medicine combined with gynecological enema in treating endometriosis related chronic pelvic pain(qi deficiency and blood stasis type),and to provide therapeutic ideas for endometriosis-related chronic pelvic pain(qi deficiency and blood stasis type).MethodsSixty patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 30 patients in each group according to their visit order number. The treatment group started to take Eling Huayu Decoction orally for 7 days on the 1st day of menstruation clean, and received gynecological enema for 10 days on the 3rd day after menstruation clean, for three consecutive menstrual cycles;the control group started to take Diane-35 capsule on the 5th day of menstrual cycle, and stopped taking medicine for 1 week after 3 weeks, for three consecutive menstrual cycles. The VAS score,EHP-5 score and TCM syndrome score were observed before and after treatment, and the results were statistically analyzed with the help of SPSS22.0,to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Eling Huayu Decoction combined with gynecological enema.Results1.General data:Before treatment, the two groups were compared in terms of age, course of disease, marriage and sexual life, education level,VAS pain score,EHP-5score of 11 items, and TCM syndrome score. The difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating that the treatment group was comparable with the control group.2.VAS pain score:after treatment, there was statistical significance in the comparison of VAS pain scores between the two groups(P<0.05).The pain in the treatment group was significantly improved compared with the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Pain efficacy:After treatment, the total effective rates was equivalent of the two groups, and the difference wasn’t statistically significant(P>0.05),but the significant in the difference was statistically(P<0.05).4.Evaluation of EHP-5: After treatment, the EHP-5 scores of the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).The EHP-5 scores of the treatment group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.TCM syndrome score: After treatment, the TCM syndromes of the two groups were significantly improved compared with those before treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The TCM syndromes of the treatment group were significantly improved compared with the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.TCM syndrome curative effect: after treatment, there was no significant difference in total effective rate between the two groups(P>0.05),but the significant difference in curative effect was classificational(P<0.05).7.Safety index:After treatment, both groups of patients underwent blood, urine, stool routine, liver and kidney function, etc. The results showed no obvious abnormality.ConclusionTraditional Chinese medicine combined with gynecological enema can improve VAS pain score in treating chronic pelvic pain related to endometriosis(qi deficiency and blood stasis type). The curative effect is equivalent to that of Diane-35 in improving pain, but it is superior to Diane-35 in improving TCM syndrome score and EHP-5score. |
