ObjectiveTo explore the differences of event-related potential(ERP)N400 in patients with different depression subtypes, and provide objective electrophysiological basis for the classification of depression subtypes.Methods78 cases of ASD+MD-,46 cases of ASD-MD+,61 cases of ASD+MD+and 24 cases of ASD-MD-were included in this study.35 Healthy controls(HC)were included in the same period. The 17 items of Hamilton Depression rating scale and 30 items of Inventory of Depressive Symptomatology(IDS-30)in the case group were collected as the subtype scale. The RBANS scores and various factors scores as well as the latency and amplitude of N400 of all subjects were collected.SPSS 25 statistical software was used for statistical analysis. The sex comparison between groups wasχ2 test and described by N(%).Age,years of education, total HAMD-17 scores and factor scores, total RBANS scores and factor scores were statistically compared between groups using Kruskal-Wallis H test and described by M(QL,QU).The latent period and amplitude of N400 were in line with approximate normal distribution, and were statistically analyzed by two-factor ANOVA and described by((?)±S).With age,sex and years of education as covariables, the relationship between total scores and factor scores of HAMD17 and RBANS and the latency and amplitude of N400 was analyzed by partial correlation analysis. The test level α=0.05,two-sided test.ResultsThe total score of HAMD-17 in patients group was higher than HC,ASD+MD+was higher than ASD-MD-and ASD-MD+,and ASD+MD-was higher than ASD-MD+,the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).The scores of anxiety factors in patients group were higher than HC,ASD+MD-was higher than ASD-MD+ and ASD-MD-,ASD+MD+ was higher than ASD-MD+ and ASD-MD-,the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).The weight factor score of ASD+MD+ and ASD+MD-were higher than HC,ASD+MD+ was higher than ASD-MD-and ASD-MD+,the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).The scores of cognitive impairment factors in patients group were higher than HC,ASD+MD+ was higher than ASD-MD+,the differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).The scores of block factor and sleep disorder factor in the patient group were higher than those in HC,and the scores of immediate memory, speech function, attention, delayed memory and RBANS were lower than those in HC,with statistical significance(P < 0.05).The scores of immediate memory of ASD+MD+ was lower than ASD-MD+,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).There was no interaction between subtypes and electrode sites, and there was no significant difference in the main effect(P>0.05).The amplitude of N400 at Fz electrode was negatively correlated with the score of cognitive impairment(r=-0.170,P=0.016),and positively correlated with immediate memory(r=0.138,P=0.050).The latency of Cz electrode was negatively correlated with delayed memory(r=-0.155,P=0.028),and the amplitude of Cz electrode was positively correlated with retardation factor(r=0.151,P=0.033).The amplitude of Pz electrode was positively correlated with the blocking factor(r=0.174,P=0.014).ConclusionMDD patients have extensive cognitive impairment, with lower immediate memory, speech function, attention and delayed memory than normal people. The symptoms of ASD+MD+ and ASD+MD-were more severe in these subtypes, and the impairment of ASD+MD+ cognitive function was the most obvious. The amplitude of N400 in MDD patients was negatively correlated with cognitive impairment and positively correlated with blocking factor. However, there was no difference in N400 between MDD patients and HC. |
