Obj ective:To investigate the clinical effectiveness of deep pricking versus shallow pricking at sublingual points in the treatment of dysphagla of pseudobulbar paralysis after apoplexy,in order to devise a novel and effective treatment strategy. Methods:This double-blind examined 60 patients who were diagnosed with post-stroke pseudomyelitis with dysphagia were randomized(1:1)to test and control group by random number table method. The test group was treated with deep stabbing at sublingual points and the control group was treated with shallow stabbing at sublingual points once a day for 6 consecutive days, with 1 day of rest.A total of 1 week regards as a course of treatment. After 2 courses of treatment, respectively the primary efficacy end points were examined for Standardized Swallow Test(W ST)and Standard Swallowing Assessment and Swallowing Quality Of Life(SWAL-QOL)to assess patients’ swallowing function and swallowing quality of life.the curative scores of prior and after treatment were calculated.Result:1.WST rating analysis:The WST ratings were significantly lower in both groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the score in test group had decreased significantly versus the treatment group(P<0.05).2.Standard swallowing function evaluation score(SSA)analysis:The SSA scores has significantly decreased in both group of post-treatment patients than the prior(P<0.05),and the scores in test group lowered significantly in comparison with treatment group(P<0.05).3.Swal-qol scale for dysphagia(SWAL-QOL)evaluation and analysis:the SWAL-QOL scores of patients in both groups were better than prior treatment, and in the comparison of two groups, the test group scores improved significantly(P<0.05).4.Comparison of clinical efficacy:After curing 2 courses, the total effective rate was 93.3 3%in test group, and the total effective rate was 70.00%in control group and the total effective rate of the test group was higher than that of control group, which was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both sublingual puncture and sublingual puncture can effectively improve swallowing function of patients with pseudobulbar palsy after stroke, and the treatment efficiency of sublingual puncture group is better than that of sublingual puncture group.2.Both sublingual acupuncture and sublingual acupuncture can effectively improve the quality of life of patients with pseudobulbar palsy after stroke, and the improvement degree of sublingual acupuncture group is better than that of sublingual acupuncture group.
