| Objective:A retrospective study was designed to analyze the clinical data of patients with colorectal cancer complicated with obstruction to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of ERAS method. Methods:Eighty patients were randomly selected from the total population with colorectal cancer treated with laparoscopic surgery after colon stent placement admitted from 2017.03 to 2021.09 to Guilin 2nd People’s Hospital, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria.Out of the 80 patients,40 patients were assigned to the experimental group and treated with ERAS mode, and the remaining 40 patients were assigned to the control group with conventional therapy.Pairwise pairing comparisons.Preoperative and intraoperative data-including CRP,WBC inflammatory indicators at 3 days after admission and surgery,Albumin index before and 7 days, the VAS pain score both before and after the intervention, and postoperative rehabilitation indicators, complications, and total hospital days and overall treatment costs-were collected from the two patient groups,A retrospective study was performed. The data were analyzed by SPSS 25 software, with normally distributed quantitative data by((?)±S,t-test or ANOVA)and non-normally distributed quantitative data by M(P25,P75),rank sum test, classified data, rank data and count data by frequency and percentage(%),and chi-square test.Statistical significance was obtained at P≤0.05.Results:There was no statistical difference in preoperative and intraoperative data,WBC,CRP,admission albumin level,VAS pain score before intervention, and complication rate(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, patients in the treatment group showed a significant difference in postoperative inflammation index(CRP:113.56±24.18ug/m L vs 141.17±27.14ug/m L;WBC:11.82±2.06×10~9/L vs 15.27±2.16×10~9/L),postoperative body function recovery, postoperative analgesia(2.43±0.55 vs 3.23±0.62)were different(P<0.05).For postoperative nutrition comparison, there was no statistical difference in postoperative albumin comparison(P>0.05),but the albumin levels before and after surgery in the treatment group(preoperative albumin 30.41±2.70g/L,31.97±1.66g/L,t=-4.3,P<0.05).Conclusions:The ERAS treatment mode resulted in less stress response to patients than the conventional mode, reduced risk of complications, and decrease in the length of hospital stay and cost, which optimized the overall treatment. The ERAS model is safe and effective in combined laparoscopic surgery after colonic stenting in patients with colorectal cancer and obstruction. |
