ObjectiveTo explore the intervention effect of narrative nursing on anxiety, depression and coping style of maintenance hemodialysis patients.MethodThe method of quasi experimental study is adopted. From April 1,2020 to March 31,2021,A total of 86 Maintenance hemodialysis patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were selected as the research objects,in a blood purification Center of a hospital in Qingdao. The patients were divided into control group and experimental group by random number table method. The control group was given routine nursing for patients, and the experimental group was given narrative nursing on the basis of the control group. The intervention time was once a week,20-30min each time. The intervention lasted for 2months,and a total of 8 times were carried out. Before and after the intervention, general data questionnaire,self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),self-rating Depression Scale(SDS)and medical Coping style Questionnaire(MCMQ)were used to evaluate the intervention effect. The data is statistically analyzed using SPSS 26.0.The measurement data were described by means±standard deviation((?)±s).T test was used for normal distribution,non-parametric test was used for non-coincidence.The counting data were described by percentage(%)and frequency(n),andc~2 test was used.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Result1.Comparison of baseline data before intervention:there was no statistical significance in demography,disease-related data, anxiety, depression, and disease-related coping styles between the experimental group and the control group(P>0.05),indicating a balanced comparison.2.Comparison of anxiety:After intervention,SAS score of experimental group(42.44±4.38)was significantly lower than that before intervention(53.78±4.70)(t=11.575,P<0.001),and significantly lower than that of control group(53.14±3.70)(t=-12.242,P<0.001).There was no significant difference within the control group(t=0.499,P=0.619).3.Comparison of depression:After intervention, the SDS score of the experimental group(43.93±4.15)was significantly lower than that before intervention(53.95±5.91)(t=9.103,P<0.001),and significantly lower than that of the control group(53.05±3.03)(t=-10.39,P<0.001).There was no significant difference within the control group(t=0.706,P=0.482).4.Comparison of disease coping styles:After intervention, the MCMQ resignation dimension score of the experimental group(10.93±1.42)was significantly lower than the pre-intervention score(13.02±1.20)(t=7.367,P<0.001),and significantly lower than the control group(13.67±1.51)(t=-8.687,P<0.001).There was no significant difference within the control group(t=1.453,P=0.150).After intervention, the avoidance dimension score of MCMQ in the experimental group(16.51±2.58)was significantly lower than that before intervention(18.53±2.60)(t=3.662,P<0.001),and significantly lower than the control group(18.26±2.54)(t=-3.164,P<0.05).There was no significant difference within the control group(t=0.608,P=0.545).After intervention, the MCMQ confrontation dimension of the experimental group(22.65±2.08)was significantly higher than the pre-intervention score(18.67±2.38)(t=-8.254,P<0.001),and significantly higher than the control group(19.51±2.52)(t=6.300,P<0.001).There was no significant difference within the control group(t=-1.308,P=0.194).Conclusion1.Narrative nursing for maintenance hemodialysis patients can relieve anxiety and depression.2.Narrative nursing for maintenance hemodialysis patients can improve their disease coping style. It can promote patients to face the disease positively and improve the quality of life.
