| Objective: To investigate the relationship between early life risk factor exposure and childhood asthma. Methods: A total of 148 asthmatic children aged 2-14 who were diagnosed in the pediatric outpatient and inpatient department of Inner Mongolia Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 1,2020 to December 31,2021 were randomly selected as the case group.148 children who received physical examinations in the pediatric outpatient department and the pediatric health care outpatient department of the Inner Mongolia Maternal and Child Health Hospital were selected as the control group, and a questionnaire survey was conducted during the treatment period or by telephone. The factors included in the questionnaire included environmental factors during period of Preparative pregnancies, maternal personal history and environmental factors during pregnancy, and personal history and environmental factors during childhood(0-2 years). The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 20.0 for univariate analysis, and the statistical significance of univariate was included in the multivariate Logistic stepwise regression analysis. Results : 1.In the case group, there were significant differences in parental drinking during period of Preparative pregnancies and basic diseases during period of Preparative pregnancies compared with the control group(P < 0.05).Paternal smoking or passive smoking during period of Preparative pregnancies were risk factors for the development of asthma(OR = 3.97,95% CI: 1.75-9.00).2.Exposure to chemical substances during pregnancy/adjacent to chemical factories or main roads, use of antibiotics, and diseases during pregnancy(pregnancy)were compared with the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P﹤0.05).In the case group,a total of 69 children with mothers had pregnancy diseases during pregnancy, including 39.13% of gestational anemia,33.33% of gestational diabetes,14.49% of gestational hypertension, and gestational hyperthyroidism(hyperthyroidism)or hypothyroidism(hypothyroidism).10.14%,infectious diseases 2.90%.Vitamin D supplementation during pregnancy was a protective factor for childhood asthma(OR=0.27,95%CI: 0.13-0.58).Fever or infection during pregnancy and passive smoking were risk factors for asthma in children(OR=5.85,95%CI: 2.47-13.89;OR=6.14,95%CI: 2.63-14.34).3.The case group included 148 children with a male to female ratio of 1.96:1.The proportion of boys suffering from asthma was higher than that of girls.Compared with the control group, vitamin D supplementation during childhood(0-2years old),interior decoration/near chemical factory/main road, and indoor pets were all statistically significant(P ﹤ 0.05).Family history, allergy history, and intravenous antibiotics were risk factors for asthma(OR=5.10,95%CI: 2.38-10.94;OR=3.18,95%CI:1.43-7.07;OR=2.57,95%CI: 1.23-5.39).In the case group,118 children had a history of allergies,of which 36.70% had eczema,26.22% had allergic rhinitis,14.98% had urticaria, and 22.10% had other allergic reactions. In the case group,108 children had allergen inspection reports, among which absinthe, mugwort, and ragweed accounted for 32.65%;cypress,elm,willow,poplar,and sycamore accounted for 21.63%.Conclusion:1.During period of Preparative pregnancies, parents drinking alcohol and having underlying diseases are related to the occurrence of childhood asthma.Father smoking or passive smoking during period of Preparative pregnancies is a risk factor for childhood asthma.2.Environmental factors during pregnancy(exposure to chemicals/proximity to chemical plants or main roads),use of antibiotics, diseases during pregnancy(anemia during pregnancy, diabetes during pregnancy, hypertension during pregnancy, hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism during pregnancy, infectious diseases)are all related to the occurrence of childhood asthma..Vitamin D supplementation during pregnancy is a protective factor for childhood asthma.Fever or infection during pregnancy and passive smoking are risk factors for childhood asthma.3.Vitamin D supplementation in childhood(0-2 years old),environmental factors(room decoration/adjacent to chemical factories/main road, indoor pets)are related to the occurrence of childhood asthma.Family history, history of allergies(eczema, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, other allergic reactions),and intravenous antibiotics are risk factors for asthma.Boys have higher rates of asthma than girls. In the history of allergies, eczema is the most common.Artemisia species allergens were predominant in allergen detection. |
