Objective Through the screening of stroke high-risk groups and the preliminary analysis of stroke cases in hospitals in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, this study understood the level of stroke risk factors and the detection characteristics of high-risk groups in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, and discussed the epidemiological characteristics and related factors of different types of stroke in Inner Mongolia,so as to lay a foundation for formulating and improving stroke prevention and control strategies. Methods According to the technical plan of the 2020 Stroke Screening for High-Risk Groups and Intervention Project,a major special project of the National Health Commission, the screening results of 15,666 40-year-old permanent residents in the area of 7 stroke project hospitals in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and the data of 7,472 stroke cases in the hospital were collected. The cluster sampling method is adopted to determine the screening points and ensure that more than 90% of the permanent residents≥40 years old can be included. The urban and rural respondents at each screening point shall be consistent with the proportion of urban and rural population, and the distribution of gender and age shall be similar to the results of the sixth national census.Results(1)The main risk factors of stroke were hypertension, dyslipidemia, diabetes, lack of exercise, obesity, smoking, family history of stroke, atrial fibrillation or valvular heart disease.Hypertension, dyslipidemia and diabetes were in the top three, with the detection rates of 52.6%,39.9% and 28.6% The detection rate of stroke high-risk population in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was 30.8% The detection rate of male stroke high-risk group(38.7%)was significantly higher than that of female(25.6%).Mongolian nationality(38.9%)is higher than Han nationality(30.1%).Rural areas(32.2%)are higher than urban areas(30.0%).The detection rate decreased with the increase of educational level and income level. The detection rate reached the peak at the age of 60.(2)The incidence of stroke in Inner Mongolia is mainly ischemic, accounting for 89.7%,and both types are male. The prevalence of diabetes in ischemic stroke group was significantly higher than that in hemorrhagic stroke group, while the prevalence of hypertension in hemorrhagic stroke group was significantly higher than that in ischemic stroke group.Multivariate regression analysis showed that relative to hemorrhagic stroke, the related factors of ischemic stroke were age,BMI,high Tc,low HDL-C,high Hcy,smoking history and diabetes, while relative to ischemic stroke, the related factors of hemorrhagic stroke were hypertension,Mongolian and alcohol consumption.Conclusion(1)The detection rate of high-risk stroke in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was higher in men than in women, higher in Mongolian than in Han nationality, and in rural areas, higher than in cities. The detection rate decreased with the increase of educational level and income level.(2)The incidence of stroke in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is mainly ischemic, with a high incidence in men.Diabetes,BMI,dyslipidemia(high TC,low HDL-C and high Hcy)and elderly patients are closely related to ischemic stroke.Young age, hypertension, drinking and Mongolian population are closely related to hemorrhagic stroke, and the age of onset of Mongolian is younger than that of Han nationality. The prevalence of hypertension in Mongolian group is higher than that of Han nationality.
