BackgroundAccording to data released by the WHO in 2020,the incidence of lung cancer is still high,and it is the cancer with the highest mortality rate.Most lung cancers are found to be advanced.Early detection and early treatment of lung cancer are of great significance to reducing lung cancer mortality.The treatment of early non-small cell lung cancer is mainly surgical resection,and the 5-year survival rate can reach 60% to80%.With the advancement of diagnostic technology and the improvement of national awareness of physical examinations,the diagnosis rate of early lung cancer has shown a gradual increase trend.Traditional thoracotomy is a common procedure for lobectomy.Although it removes cancer tissues effectively,it causes greater damage to the patient,which is not conducive to the recovery of the patient after surgery.Video-assisted thoracic surgery has the advantages of less surgical trauma,less intraoperative blood loss,less postoperative pain and fewer postoperative complications.It promotes the recovery of patients after surgery and has little effect on the activity of chest wall muscles,which has been extensive used in thoracic surgery.Compared with multiple operation holes,a single operation hole may further reduce the damage to muscles and nerves,and reduce postoperative paresthesia and movement disorders.MethodA retrospective collection of 79 early-stage lung cancer patients admitted to the Jieyang People’s Hospital from October 2019 to February 2021 was used as the research object,and they were divided into a control group and a study group according to the operation method.The control group was implemented three-hole VATS,and the study group was implemented single operation port VATS.The operation-related indicators of the two groups were compared,including operation time,intraoperative blood loss,number of lymph nodes dissected.The postoperative recovery conditions of the two groups were compared,including the time to get out of bed after the operation,the time to place the drainage tube after the operation,and the length of hospital stay after the operation.The postoperative pain of the two groups was compare.The SF-36 quality of life scale was used to compare the postoperative quality of life of the patients.Follow-up for 6 months after operation,the complications of the two groups were compared.ResultsCompared with the control group,although the amount of blood loss,the number of lymph node dissections and the total operation time of the study group were reduced to a certain extent,the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Compared with the control group,the time to get out of bed and hospital stay in the study group were significantly shortened(P<0.05),while the drainage tube placement time was not statistically significant(P>0.05).Compared with before the operation,the VAS score of 1 to 7 days after the operation increased significantly in both groups(P<0.05).Compared with patients in the control group,the VAS scores of the patients in the study group began to decrease significantly from the first day after surgery(P<0.05),and until the seventh day,the VAS scores of the patients in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Compared with control group,the scores of PF,RP,BP,VT,CH,SF,MH and RE in the study group increased significantly one week after surgery(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in postoperative complications 6months between the study group and the control group(P>0.05).ConclusionCompared with three-hole VATS in the treatment of early lung cancer,single operation port VATS does not increase intraoperative bleeding and postoperative complications,and reduces the dorsal one-hole VATS,which can reduce postoperative pain and enable patients to get out of bed early.In the treatment of early lung cancer,single operation port VATS can play a better role.
